Worth the read in my book.

Now if I can just find a way to get my rando-team mates to read this....

Could you talk about how to counter AD carries in mid as an AP?

For example, as lux, rarely will I ever have problems in mid, but this one ashe I versed, she would keep walking past both our minions right infront of me, volley, and proceed to auto attack me until I'm forced back to my turret. Also before you say I can E her, yes I can but her auto attacks are faster, and do more damage than mine. It is simply not a fair trade for me to harass back. I can't even last hit minions because she won't let me anywhere near them.

How do I verse something like that?

Nice Guide :) , nothing very new 2 me but for new players it can be very helpful.
Maybe write some more counter items for example for hard midchamps.

And you forgot Zhonyas as counteritem for karthus ;) its also nice to counter lux ulti.

Thanks for the guide. Included some details that were well explained that people don't often think about. +1

Btw how about adding in some counters for some different-from-the-usual-build champs such as ap yi, ap shaco and ap sion.

I really like the guide, one thing you should add is that Hexdrinker is a counter to karthus as well. You also say that Olaf is a weak jungler, I think you should really clarify that he is a "low health" jungler, but not weak as in bad one.

+1 from me.

What I don't understand is, the roles how AP and AD carries are supposed to attack the other carries. my question is who the hell will attack their annoying support and tank like Alistar who can keep everyone away from his carry.

In an ideal situation against a good team who are already following this standards you will be stuck with tanks attacking each other and carries roaming to try and get around the tanks

this guide will work against low ELO players but you strive to improve ELO just to get stick and constantly lose to the players who already understand this.

you need to mention that carries should attack the annoying wall separating them from their carry

but when you do this you'd just be back to kill who ever is closest
you need to mention that EVERYONE's role in a team to break this
structural positions
that includes:
Poppy's Ulti
Alistar's W
Amumu's Ulti
Nunu's Ulti
and it does not necessarily mean a skill but also situational things
such as:
Kiting
Baiting
Coming from behind
Splitting the battle

I'm going to answer this as best as I can.
I'll start where we agree. I should add on parts about kiting, baiting, coming from behind and splitting the battle. I'll get on that ASAP.

I disagree with the "attack the wall in your face" kind of stuff though. If alistar walks in and starts pound on your team, it is not the job of the carry to get him off. It's the tank's job. And many times an alistar won't just walk up into your team and 1v5 you for 10 seconds. Maybe a few seconds, and then his team runs in. At that point, it is the carry's job to refocus the enemy carry, whether it be melee or ranged. Make no mistake, teamfights are about killing the enemy carry and protecting your own. They are the key to winning teamfights. If the enemy's carry just died and your's is healthy, you probably just won the teamfight. People like the AP carry should be entirely satisfied for dying 1 to 1 in a teamfight for the enemy carry.

Example, enemy alistar walks in, pounds ground, w's out someone. Allied ashe shoots alistar for 2 seconds, enemy team arrives. Allied mumu runs in next to the allied ashe and turns on his cry. If alistar does anything to indicate he's going to hit ashe, mumu is to Q the alistar. And whenever he can, ult the alistar and the carry at the same time. Mumu's job is not to run up in the face of ashe and try to stun her for his team, his job is to protect his ashe. While the alistar is in ashe's face, the allied kassadin may get what he wants, port on enemy caitlyn and instakill her in exchange for his own life.

Teamfights have a lot of dynamics. Many teamfights are different, I offered a basic approach. But I will say, the instructions I gave on teamfighting will lead to tanks colliding sometimes and it won't lead to mumu jumping on an ashe. The only time the tank should stop protecting is for the initiation, then right back into protecting the carry.

I will, however, expand on the teamfighting section (I made it short originally because it didn't seem like a counter to me, just good advice).

I also believe this guide works in high elo and will raise low elo players. The things that separate mid elo and high elo is the knowledge of counters. I really think you are mistaken in believing this will only work in low elo. High elo swains aren't immune to ignite... You won't make it to high elo without knowing how to counter, much less stay there.
