First off for anyone thinking about playing lux I will say this she is very skill intensive if you can't land slow moving skill shots your not going to have as much fun with lux. However with that said I believe she is probably one of the most powerful champions in the game and can smash just about anyone 1v1 if your willing to just widdle your opponent down. You will have to land auto attacks after casting your spells if you want to be effective also.

Some of the choices I make might seem weird so I'll explain them. First off the armor quints are just so you don't get pwned by armor pens as the 3 quints about make up for a full rune page of armor pens. You wont be getting hit a lot with melee but you don't want to instantly die when you do. Next up is why do I take teleport really you can put anything you want in that slot a lot of the times I end up taking something else it really just depends on what your going to be doing and in what lanes ect... Oh and why I level q before e is because you really want to spend more focus on landing your q because the snare can just make for so much pwnage when laning vs someone. It also is better for farming creeps as the area affect is harder to keep to just one minion so you don't push your lane not that you will often need to use your spells on minions. You should be focusing on keeping your opponents life low so you don't have to worry about them as much and can get more creep kills.

Ok so the real idea behind the build is to not spend any time in town if possible. The boots help you move around the map for ganking or getting into position. They are by far the best boots for a character like lux that relies on being in the right positions at the right times. The chalice solves most of your mana problems and once you get codex's you will be able to spam constantly without every really running out of mana. I advise always having 2 health pots on you and if you run out of them that's a good sign to go back to town and pick up 2-3 more plus any new items you can. This is a more aggressive build the support style however I feel lux plays the support role better when she is being more aggro. It's tricky to remember to use your death before you start spaming your other spells in a team fight but it does pay off if you do. And the last item *razors* in the build is mostly so she can pwn any minions if need be as I find some games come down to having to push a lane all the way back as fast as possible. It also will make soling dragon if you ever have the chance allllllot faster.

I think that about sums up the most of it really I felt like I spent too much time on this and should just post the items but I did want to go over some of the reasons for the choices.
