Introduction

Pantheon is an extremely overpowered champion, and slightly underplayed. If you follow this guide I have created for you, you will have no problem carrying your team. I have spent countless days figuring out, and playing this champion. Now I am going to spill out all the info I know, and show you how to play Pantheon. And yes I realize that i forgot the boots just throw a berserkers graves in there somewhere early game.

Runes

Runes are pretty simple. I like alot of attack speed and penetratione early game. This is good because you can really get at your enemies when they are extremely weak. If you can get the early game kill it puts you in a good postion to start with. Also since people may try and do the same thing to you, it's good to have armor to defend you against people with the same strategy.

Masteries

Masteries are based on the same thing as runes. It's importanat to have armor penetrationa s well as armor and defense. If you feel the need, you can change the ability power masteries and change them to less death time or something else. I feel the need for some ability power on pantheon for his Aegis Jump or is W move. It helps deal some damage early game. The other thing that I concentrate on in my masteries is attack damage. All of Pantheon's attacks are based on AD.

Items

Items with Pantheon are a little tricky, he needs lots of mana regeneration! Pantheon drives all his damage from his skills. He still can auto attack, but the skills are what matters since they have low cooldown and do good damage. So the first item you need is the Miki Pendant and a health potion. The health potion you will need after having the general early game combbat before minions spawn. The pendant you will son upgrade to a Chalice of Harmony. This will restore mana fater the less mana you have. So it's ok to spam Pantheon's attacks. You will be low on Mana no matter what in the early game. That will soon end once you reach about lvl 8 or so. The next item you need to get is the phage. Feel free to buy health potions how you like as you go, but the phage comes next. Pantheon needs health and attack damage, the Phage does both. You will need to upgrade it to a Frozen Mallet next. The health is what you need the most early game. Pantheon's skills will suffice for damge until you next item which is the Black Cleaver. Many people stay away from this item, however it's perfect for Pantheon. Pantheon needs attack damage and speed by this time in the game, and the Black Cleaver offers both. It also takes down armor of Pantheon's target which is good when he is attacking other tanks. The next item is a Infinity Edge, this will boost Pantheon's AD and let him do massive damage with both critical hits and his skills. You next item will be a Maw of Malmortius. This will boost you AD as well as give you more AD as your health goes down. Its a great item for 1v1's when you are losing and you need that extra boost. Also if you were to take some massive magic damage, you will get a sheild to save you from 400 more HP. Your last item is a Phantom Dancer, this is just to give you movement speed and attack speed. I like to vary Pantheon's last item as you will rarely buy it unless the game goes long. It just depends on what you feel like.

Skill Sequence

For Pantheon's skills i tend to focus getting them all to lvl 1 to start since you need all of them. I tend to focus on lvling up his Q and is E as they do the majority of damage. Pantheon's W is more just to get away from fights, to start them, or to end them. Pantheon's jump stun is not meant to do much damage. The best combo of his attacks is to Jump Stun someone then Strike them and Throw your spear as they are running away. If they are near a tower and at low health, you can Grand Skyfall them under thier tower as long as your sheilds are up to block the first turret attack. A strategy for running awway is to go into a bush and Aegis Jump the enemy while running away. This will leave them stunned and allow you to get away easy. If you want to watch a good video about Pantheon Strategies go onto youtube and search redmercy commentary Pantheon.

Summoner Spells

The summoner spells are simple, just heal and ignite. The heal is mainly for if you're being tower dived and need the extra health. Or if your tower diving and need extra health to get away. Ignite I use for mainly the same thing. I ignite people who tower dive so that when they try to get away with little health my ignite kills them. Or the other way around if im diving or just 1v1ing, i will ignite at the last second to get the kill in case I die.
