Thanks for all your tips. I ended up creating my own. If you'd like I'll edit and provide a link.

Either way just wanted to say thanks

This guide maybe isn't ideal, it has some small issues to work out. But it's pretty close to being right. I can't believe blitz is so over looked either.

He has everything you could ask for in Dominion:

Speed
AoE interrupt
Long Range CC
Positioning Manipulation
3 CCs
High Damage output
Good Survivability

Blitz is the most OP champion in dominion in my book. A friend of mine plays him and I play Ali...we don't lose...

Yeah I know. Its just what I use. The runes could be better its just runes that I have, I only have 3 pages so one is AD, AP and Tank, thats my Tank page. Also I just started using Alistar too haha, he is great for dominion im thinking of doing a build with him on here, once I figure out some good items on him.

Cool. Yea My build focuses more on cool downs for sheen punches. Just because of the mana shield and defensive purposes I did work it into my build but I still needed cool down.

Right now I do this. Manamune,lucidity boots,frozen heart,tri force,odyns,Sanguines.

The only thing I loose out is the little bit of extra speed but with 35% cool down reduction, manamune, and great mana items, I have plenty of damage, CC sheen punches, and lifesteal. I get around pretty quick because I priorities maxing overdrive. then power fist. Due to the lack in speed I take ghost.

Primarily, I find myself a great secondary defender in this build with the ability to participate in captures due to the fact that I can pull people in or away from turrets. Minion waves are not as interfering as they are in SR :D and tenacity is not as important. I may make a guide as well.

Try it, it's not as hard as is looks this is my first one. Also a tip, to make items and champions highlight you have to put brackets around them like [.[Manamune].] (without the periods) and it will show up yellow and clickable, makes your guide look not as boring.

That's a really interesting suggestion, if you don't mind I think im going to make another blitz build using it. The reason why I wouldn't do that in my build is because Thornmail to me is the most important item, without Manamune the Manashield would be too small because the only mana items then are Sheen and Odyn's Veil. Also you do get Manamune up fast, spamming Overdrive everytime it comes up also Powerfisting and grabbing everything in sight for 30 minutes can increase it quite a bit. Having the extra mana has his shield give him the rest of his health back and now you can lifesteal it all the way back up using Sanguines Blade while your mana shield protects you, believe me I've thought a lot about this and it just synergies really well with eachother even if it doesn't seem like it.

TBH I feel like the game doesnt last long enough for you to get enough damage out of manamune. It won't build fast enough.

Also i recommend frozen heart over thornmail. This thing was made for blitz. More shield, CD for spamming E, and solves any mana problem you may have had.

The money I didnt spend into manamune eventually goes into a brutalizer and ghostblade.
I still get damage and I get more cool down. That means more E and Sheen/Triforce punches.

Here is the math.

Blitzcrank mana at lvl 18 is 980 manamune gives 350 mana sheen gives 250. Most games I play I never get above 700 bonus mana when I rush manamune in dominion. That is 2280 mana. You will get 45 damage.

If I am generous and give you frozen heart instead of thornmail you get 2780 for 55 damage.

Manamune costs 2110. For 2272 I can get ghostblade. I usually just get brutalizer for a while though. I get 30 attack and 15% cool down for more E and sheen and the active helps too Also don't for get armor pen because people build armor. But the real benefit comes when you combine cool down with Sheen. In a fight, without cool down I may get it off twice. With cool down I get it off 3 times. It's extra CC and more damage.

My analysis concludes that Manamune is may not be worth the gold in dominion. The only way I would consider this item is if I got frozen heart too. I love the item and it is my core in SR/TT but you don't get the same offensive benefit. Defense wise the shield helps though. His passive is even better in dominion to draw out fights. If you are using blitz as a defender a lot, I may consider it just because of the defensive value.

I think in dominion cool down is very important to blitz and armor is nuts too. I sincerly urge you to consider brutalizer and ghostblade. If not over manamune, over the lifesteal item at the end of this build.

I tried blitz on dominion even before i saw this build with my normal build and still managed to do HUGE damage and help my teal A LOT, I still find it weird that blitz is so overlooked, when the only thing he requires is some teamwork.

What I find wrong in this build is only the part of taking zeal before phage, since you always have enough mov. speed with overdrive, so slowinng enemies down is actually more important.

Otherwise, great build, I think blitz will be greatly appreciated in dominion and probably (and sadly) nerfed soon after dominion is fully released and not in beta. +1 from me.

I know right hes great, if you read in my guide I said you can take Phage before Zeal, I just said I prefer Zeal because I like capturing points more early on. Also thanks for liking it!
