Its a very op tank, you should kill him a lot in early, and you must dodge his stuns (he can use his Q down himself when you jump).

Introduction
I recommend Dark harvest because it gives you all the burst you need in the late game, because you already have a good early with rengar.
You can also use thunderlord if you want more damage earlier but losing a lot of late burst.
The sudden impact option is obvious because it gives you lethality when you use movility abilities (as rengar passive)
The eyeball collection is just because i dont like the other two options and this one gives you some AD
I like the new ultimate hunter because i used a lot the ultimate hat, and now I use this one to get the R every thirty seconds.
I use these secondary runes to be faster, but you can choose another ones if you want.

The pros are that you have an AD late game assassin, so you will have a lot of ad damage.
He can oneshot, so it can change the whole game.
He have an ability kit that allows you to get in, kill some enemies, heal yourself almost full life, and get out.
The cons I can see is that its one AD more, so with a tabi and some armor, you arent able to kill them easy.
If your team is giving a lot of kills, maybe at first you can kill them, but if they stay feeding, lately you won't kill anyone, so you need your team to play safer if you are behind.

Rengar cleans the single target campments so easy healing himself after they hit him and with the Q, and the raptors and wolves with the boosted W.
With Rengar you should farm a lot your jungle (and steal the enemy jungle if the laners help you) until you are in advantage, but remember, you have to be in the teamfights because you can completely change the fight result from a lose to a victory, so you shouldnt afk farm, remember to have presence in the game.

You cannot carry the fights, you are a burst assassin, you should kill them one by one, so in teamfights, one thing that I usually do is to kill the squishy enemies, like a Lulu, Soraka and the adc, so my team fight with the tanks only, and they kill them easy.
How I survive?
The answer is easy, but its hard to do. I use the W to disengage with the movement speed and getting CCs out, while I heal my whole life. You are dying A LOT of times with Rengar if you dont know how to use your W. You can only learn this by playing a lot of Rengar, I cannot say how to use it, you must learn to analyze the moments.

Savagery (Q) : It will give you a considerable extra damage (AD) and attack speed for your next two attacks.
With the ferocity buff, it gives MORE extra damage (140%AD) and attack speed, but this time, the attack speed lasts 5 seconds for an indefinite number of attacks.
Battle roar (W) : It deals low damage (AP) to the nearby enemies, and Rengar heals himself for 50% of the damage taken in the last 1.5 seconds.
With the ferocity boost it deals 80% of your AP extra damage and removes all the CC.
Bola strike (E) : It deals some AD damage, and it slows the enemies from 30% at lvl 1 to 90% at lvl 5 for 1.75 seconds.
The ferocity just changes this ability to a root instead of a simple slow.
Thrill of the hunt (R) : Rengar gets 50% aprox of extra movement speed and gives true sight for the nearest enemy in 3000 range for 12/16/20 seconds.
Rengar gets invisibility after 2 seconds of this ability activation and he can jump, like from a bush, but within it. If you jump to the nearbiest enemy (the true sight marked one), you get 50% extra AD damage and reduces the enemy armor by 20 for 4 seconds after jumping

Okay, AP rengar isnt the best idea for ranked games, but he has got a lot of burst really.
If you use this tryhard build, you should max W>Q>E, and pick Thunderlord instead of the Dank Harvest.
The combo is the same one, but you have to cast W faster, because if you have only one AP ratio (the W) and you dont use it with the AP build... something isnt fine.
