Ability Order

Shen Passive Ability

Introduction

Hi there this my first guide so bear with me. In my opinion, Shen can be one of the best tanks in the game if played correctly. Start with Vorpal Blades first for early harrasment/last hitting. A lot of people like to start with Shadow Dash, but it's really your personal preference. Personally, I feel like last hitting and harassment at level 1 is more important than taunting since creeps will target you if you taunt too much early game.

Runes

I basically copied Westrice's rune page from Solomid, however I did take 3 movement speed quints instead of his flat HP quints. Shen is very slow, so I feel like some extra movement speed is very viable for him.

Masteries

Simple defense tree, with some offense. Shen needs no utility since he uses energy.

Items

Shen can be built in many different ways. One thing I see a lot on Shen that I completely DISAGREE with is a banshee veil. Shen does not need mana, therefore I feel like a BV is completely useless on him.
