Also this hasn't got any tankiness whatsoever.
The last time I had an ADC Thresh on my team, we were ahead of the enemy Draven all game and he still managed to get outdamaged by a Draven with less farm and kills.
I would appreciate your comments not to be arrogant. Also, I know for a fact that thresh can carry. I've done it, my friends have done it, professionals have done it. I read your guide for making builds (which, by the way, I will probably tweak mine because yours had some good info in it). I get that there are "meta-breaking" situations that should flat out never be used, but I urge you to at least look him up on youtube.
If possible, I would like receiving comments from people that have tried this or for people criticizing the way I make builds. I don't mind if someone accuses me of being a witch after they didn't succeed with what I had to offer. I just don't see much of a point in claiming something is unviable without doing anything with it. Even once.
Your statement is quite arrogant yourself. I am a diamond player, I have seen or tested everything already; Thresh is my best support so I kinda know how he works (or not). On the other hand, you don't have any experience in ranked whatsoever so you cannot really claim what is viable and what not - simply because you don't have any experience against players who actually DO know what they are talking about.
This is not the first time people make guides for ADC Thresh; it is nothing new.
Reasons it is not viable:
Short range
No escapes
Somewhat weak AD scalings (only on his E passive)
Q is a self-stun (you cannot autoattack) and will only get you in the middle of the enemy team
Greater Mark of Critical Damage with Greater Glyph of Critical Damage
and
Greater Mark of Magic Resist with Greater Glyph of Magic Resist
then, check your choices. You will see why you were downvoted so quickly.
Edit: You also say that there is no other "ADC" that counter Thresh. Well, with the exception of maybe Urgot, every other ADC has a higher range than Thresh. You can be easily poked down when going to last hit. Just say your build is for fun. Thresh is way more effective when played as support.
