Ninja Tabi
It gives you the first armor and more speed for Rammus. Its a good start.
After that You have to buy the famous tanky item
Warmog's Armor
Its very good for the start, I mean when you have much HP at the start with Rammus its not bad I think. And the tanky way and very famous item for tanks and offtanks is the Warmog's Armor.
Now you have to buy the Next armor item, its the famous item
Thornmail
It gives you armor and the awesome passive to deal your enemies damage, when they hit you.
Its a very good armor item for Rammus and its a good fusion with Warmog's Armor
The Next item is
Sunfire-cape
It gives you the important things at the same time, health and armor and a very good passiv it deals damage to all enemies around you.
After that you have to buy
Randuins Omen
Its a perfect Armor item for the late game and gives you a little bit health.
It gives you awesome passives too.
Finaly you have to buy
Frozen Heart
Its a perfect armor item for the late game, it gives you armor mana and perfect teamfight passives.

Skill Sequence
You have to be defensive at the earlie game, you have to know that Rammus cant take so much damage at the start. That's why you have to play defensive. That guide is good for solotop
and normal laning with a partner. important is his armor later at the late game, you can tank the baron. The baron doesn't deal any damage to Rammus, so you can tank without any problems.
Rammus can dives the tower, to example a enemie has got a few life and you are running with a ad carry partner or someone else to kill him. It isn't a problem with that guide to dive a tower with rammus. You can defense all players in your team, tank tower, teamfights, baron, dragon, buffs, minions, monsters in the late game you still can tank all with Rammus.
