Hey guys , this is my 2nd guide and I wll be showcasing my build of Akali , the Fist of Shadow. In this guide I focus on getting both buffs of her passive early game , and well being what Akali was made for..an ASSASIN. As Akali she is an Assasin burst champ that at lvl 6 , excells at killing squishies . What you should for Akali in teamfights is focus on killing the squishies and carry on the team , since she excels at doign that . Akali is a really squishy champ and has no escape mechanisms even though people say her W is one , sure you can juke it with Akali but you can't survive , because if your AOE'd in there at low hp your problably dead. Lets carry on to the rest of the build shall we ? "Without Question"
+Great Mid and Late game.
+One of the best Burst Champs in the game.
+Great at juking and escaping with enemy heroes / minions nearby.
+Great at Farming
+Great at killing squishies.
+And she has really good AP Ratios if you think about how fast you can spam your abilities.
+Golem Buff is OP on her.
-Really Squishy Hero
-Usually focused on first in teamfights , especcially when you get Mejai's Soulstealer stacks rolling.
-Hard to Master
-Sucks early game
-Lacks an Escape Mechanism if you fail at juking in your invis shield
-Needs to Farm early game to do good mid and late game.
For Masteries , I like to go with a 21-9-0 build focusing on Ability Power , Cooldowns , Magic Pen , Attack Damage , Attack Speed , and Increased Base and Magic Damage in Offense . In Defense I focus on Magic Resist , Dodge , and the Nimbleness Mastery.
For Runes , I go with Flat Magic Penetration Marks , 1 Flat Ability Power and 8 Flat HP Seals , Flat AP Glyphs , 2 Flat Ability Power Quints , and 1 Flat Attack Damage Quint. The reason I choose these runes for Akali is because I am able to activate both her Ability Power and Attack Damage Passives for her Early Game with just a Doran's Blade. Besides , Magic Pen Marks are a must on any Ability Power / Mage / Caster type champ :P
For Summoner Spells on Akali , I like to get Ignite and Flash. Ignite to finish off that last burst on a champ , and Flash for when your in your W near a cliff , etc , or if you need it to chase or escape. Other great Summoner Spells on Akali is Exhaust , Ghost , or Teleport. The reason I choose Teleport , (I choose it when I play Ranked once in a while if the enemy team doesn't have AOE) is because when your in your W , which lasts for 8 seconds , and Teleporting lasts about 4 seconds (3.5) with it's mastery upgrade , you can teleport right out of your W , with your enemies dumbfounded when your cloud is over !
