True build name: "So you thought I ran away..."
3v3 Tristana build.
Tristana is a great kite that can easily return to battle due to her great range. This build gives her the life steal and damage to do so with plenty of get away.
Rule number one: Never use Rocket Jump and flash (keep one in reserve) both to chase unless you absolutely know you'll get the kill and are positive that no other champions can get to you. (be very cautious of shen and twisted fate if doing so.)
Don't be misled however, you will be able to be quite aggressive with this build, especially from the time you get your first bf sword to when everyone reaches about level 18, but then you have to play smarter.
I max explosive shot first for the passive, it allows you to farm very easily which is important because this build is pretty expensive. You should be able to keep up with mid lane in creep kills if not surpass them (assuming you're not mid.)
Rocket jump is for getting away and slowing mostly, the early game damage is not worth the sacrifice of other great spells tristana has.
Rapid fire is great for when you're opponent inevitably has to go back because they're being harassed too much. You can quickly push towers this way.
Items are mostly standard for a ranged ad-dps.
The order for last three items (Marded's, bloodthirster, Black cleaver) is game Dependant go blood thirster first if they have a lot of squish, in some games you might not even want black cleaver.
Why I don't get frozen mallet:
I find that with my playing style, kiting (or baiting), it's better not to get too much health or it tends not to work. Plus your survivability is based off of ranged life steal.
Why I don't get more attack speed like other tristana builds:
The attack speed attained from stark's and madred's are more than enough. When used with rapid fire, your attack speed is close to the cap.
Armor pen marks can be substituted fairly for crit chance marks.
If you find you have problems with magic resist early game use glyphs of warding.
Tip 1: If you're quick enough you can fire buster shot from a good range and still get explosive shot off for damage over time before your victim is knocked away. This is very good for close 1v1 battles or killing someone before their team can gank.
Tip 2: Using buster shot will disable your opponent for the same amount of time it would take them to be knocked back the full distance, so knocking them into a wall and attacking is a good strategy.
Trist is by far my favorite champion; use this build and you'll see why.
