Trundle is one of my favorite characters. A very tanky hero who can carry or tank depending on what you need. he has great mobility and as well cc.

ive had many ,many games with trundle and this build ive had most success with!

i go with standard ad runes. these runes work very well for my jungling and for doing lots of damage.

Greater Mark of desolation x9
Greater Seal of Armor x9
Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power x9
Greater Quintessence of desolation x3

Use runes to your preference.

i Choose 12/3/15 for my masteries.

optimizes the damage in offensive
the speed. creep buff and experience in utility
and the armor for jungling in defense

I find it really helps me in the jungle path and helps out of the jungle as well.

* Pros
- A fantastic off tank.
- Very good jungler
- Can do allot of damage
- Is very Fast and mobile
- Pillar is a amazing CC

* Cons
- Damage can fall off late game
- Pillar can ruin peoples lives
- Only really excels in the jungle

Over all trundle is a very well rounded champion

Smite - Is a must for jungling. Can't really do it without it. Also very good at stealing baron and dragon into late game.

Ghost - Adds to your great mobility

Other Summoner Spells

Exhaust - Allows you to catch up and contain people, good for more aggressive or 1v1.

Flash - Matter of Preference

The first skill you must max first is Rabid Bite. It makes you do the damage and allows you to jungle.

Now you can either max Pillar of Filth or Contaminate. What ever you prefer more.

Off course get Agony When ever you can.

This item build is meant for jungling.

You might be thinking, No trinity force? Scrub! I know trinity force is good for trundle and maybe one of the best. but i find it too expensive and not very fitting in this build

Cloth Armor - For Jungling. you can use Vampiric Scepter if you do a different jungle pattern.

Boots - This should be your next item so you can get that early gank. should be bought after your jungle route. you should have enough.

Madred's Razors will be built into you're Wriggle's Lantern For the free ward, life steal, and easy jungling.

Heart of Gold - Extra health and gp5 to make you more durable

Spirit Visage This item is my favorite item for trundle, it synergies so well with him. Health, Cdr, Mr, and the extra health from your passive and ult is a win win!

Mercury's Treads or Ninja Tabi If they have lots of Magic damage and or CC get Mercury's Treads If its ad heavy, go for Ninja Tabi

Phage This item gives you health, and a slow . This build makes you very fast, when you build this into a Frozen Mallet nothing can out run you!

Next depending on what is needed i will pick
Wit's End
Atma's Impaler
Sunfire Aegis

If you need more MR go for Wit's End ( for attack speed. and mr)
If you neeed damage and your doing very well get Atma's Impaler
if you are the tank with a bunch of squishy's then get Sunfire Aegis

Once you have all that, sell your Heart of Gold and get what ever the 2 you need more.

this item set up works around trundles ability's and to make you tanky as well a threat.

For my Jungle route i start with a Cloth Armorand Health Potionx5

I head to blue, Once you get a leash blue is a piece of cake, then you go to wolves. wraiths, then red buff, then x2 golems. Use a pot when you think you will needs it.

Recall and buy Boots and Health Potionx2 and gank a lane.

his jungling is very easy.

Another think trundle excels at is counter jungling, messing with the enemy jungler, taking creeps , and harassing always try to keep that in mind.

Rabid Bite - To get the most out of this skill, always use it right after a auto attacking, this will maximize your damage output.

Pillar of Filth - Use it to block passages or putting it in front of them to slow them down, this can make or break a kill.

Agony - Use this skill on the beefiest person, this will ensure that you will stay alive the entire team fight, you will be the tankiest person in the fight.

All in all, trundle is a great off tank, or carry.
