Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
This is currently a WIP build, it's for my own use until i've settelled on the items and then will tidy it up for public use.
I've been experimenting with Trundle alot since his release and although I enjoy the AS/AD and TF builds. He's not really viable as a damage dealer champ due to lack of damaging abilities..if you want a tank attack speed champ you're better off with Olaf/WW.
What Trundle is good at though is weaking the enemy and strengthing his own.. he is great at supporting your carrys, defensively or attacking. He marks targets with his ulti and that is the target people should focus and at the same time he disrupts the enemy by using his piller and bite (reducing the AD of the enemy carries)
He plays much like a Tankwick but better imo. Trundle is very difficult to kill unless completely focused therefore leaving your carries free to pick of the enemy team. Your scores are never great but I've won nearly 80% of my games with him since release.
Now onto the build.
As stated before i've experiemented with Sheen and TF... it's alot of fun but Trundle isn't designed for damage, he's designed to disrupt and confuse.
Now you don't need to jungle as Trundle but if you do it's very easy, just take vamp scepter and head to blue, get top and mid to cover you meanwhile. Head down to wolves, then straight to red (use smite when it's off CD on red to finish it.) Now your free to jungle at will till lvl 4. At 4 you should have enough gold for razor and maybe a ward, at which point you take dragon and ward it. Thats the basic's of it, after dragon head to enemy jungle and rebuff yourself before headng back, to refresh your hp then teleport back to the ward and gank bot or mid. I won't cover the full extent of jungling, there are very good guides out there on this site and youtube.com for that.
At the moment im still experiementing with the items but i'm heading towards auras and slows, mainly for buffing my team whenever possible.
Items are always dependent on what you need but the core is Merc treads, Spirit Visage, Ranudins and Frozon mallet.
As stated before this is still a WIP and for my own use atm. Feel free to add advice or comments below.
