Welcome to my Twisted Treeline Caitlyn build.
I haven't seen one of these yet, as Caitlyn usually isn't any good in a 3vs3, eventhough I have no problems playing her in a 3vs3. You can ofcourse contact me, if you have any tips or if you find my guide extremely unhelpful.

Let's start out with some information on Caitlyn.
- She's a range AD.
- She's really good for top laning.
- She can be used as a support.
- She can be used for carrying. (Obviously)
- Caitlyn can use her traps for defensive playing.
- Caitlyn is a really great poker.
- Caitlyn needs a support to help her.
- Caitlyn has great range, and a super ultimate , that won't miss.

Now that we know a bit about Caitlyn, to start off with, we can now go on to the next steps.

This part is extremely important!

Caitlyn is a great for start game wins, but her items aren't cheap.
What does that mean you ask? Well that means you have to farm!

Ofcourse you can start out the game by ganking, but I'd suggest you start farming ASAP!
You need as much gold as possible, so go make some! Her Piltover Peacemaker is great for farming minions, so go use it!

Headshot:
This neutral is great, as it builds up a damage bomb, as you attack minions! This means, that you'll be blasting off an attack, dealing up to 150% damage to a champion, or 240% damage to a minion.


Piltover Peacemaker (Q):
As mentioned earlier, this attack is great for farming minions, as it flies through the enemy minion/champions dealing damage to enemies behind the targeted one. This attack will also become really helpful throughout the game, so just keep that in mind.


Yordle Snap Trap (W):
This ability is just great for defense. You place these traps as you push forward, making it harder for the enemy to push back. When an enemy hits one of these traps, he'll be revealed on the map, he'll be taking magic damage for 1.5 seconds, and he'll be stunned for a couple of seconds. You can also use this to trap enemies, so that your teammates can go crazy on the enemy target.


90 Caliber Net (E):
Using this net to blast yourself away, is the right way to go! This ability is great for slowing down the enemy from distance, or to blast yourself in different directions, even through walls! Yes, this net is just that awesome! You can actually blast yourself through walls, by directing your shot the opposite way of where you want to go. You can also use this net, when fleeing from enemies - This will both slow them down, and give you a little boost when running away.


Ace in the Hole (R):
This is Caitlyn's ultimate. Is it great? Yes, but not for teamplay. I know I said different earlier, but that's because this attack's only great for ganking. You can really apply a lot of damage to an enemy, and you won't miss! Unless one of his teammates blocks the attack.

berserkers greaves
Berserker's Greaves:
This item is great for Caitlyn's attack speed, as it means a lot. You want a great attack speed, when you're playing a range champion. This item gives you:
[*] +20% attack speed
Passive Unique: +45% movement speed.


Phantom Dancer:
As I just mentioned, attack speed! You really can't get enough of it. This item is great, because it gives you:
[*] +50% attack speed
[*] +30% critical strike chance
[*] +5% movement speed
With this item, you'll be shooting crazy fast, and you'll be critting A LOT!


Infinity Edge:
You'll definitely need this item, because you need a lot of attack damage, as you'll be AD. This item will also grant you some critical strike chance, which compliments the Phantom Dancer . This item gives you:
[*] +70 attack damage
[*] +25% critical strike chance
Passive Unique: +50% critical strike damage.


Frozen Mallet:
This item is important! You'll be granted a somewhat Ashe-comparable effect. This item will give you loads of health, and some attack damage. But this isn't what makes it comparable to Ashe, because this item has a passive, that slows the enemy down for 1.5 seconds. This item gives you:
[*] +700 health
[*] +30 attack damage
Passive Unique: Basic attacks slow down enemies by 30% for 1.5 seconds.


Blade of the Ruined King
This item will give you a huge health regeneration boost, and boost your attack damage! It also has an amazing passive. This item gives you:
[*] +25 attack damage
[*] +40 health regeneration
[*] +15% life steal
Unique Passive: Deals 5% of the target's current Health in bonus physical damage (max 60 damage vs. monsters and minions) on hit. UNIQUE Active: Deals 15% of target champion's maximum Health as physical damage (min. 100), heals for the same amount, and steals 30% of the target's Movement Speed for 4 seconds (60 second cooldown).

When playing AD Carrier with a ranged champion, I'd advice you to have some support with you! Throughout my time of playing with Caitlyn, I've been successfully teaming up with the following supports:

- Taric is really good with Caitlyn!

- Janna makes Caitlyn look godlike!

- Thresh gets the job done, by pulling the enemy closer. This guy is my favourite to team up with so far.
