Tank or mage ? the answer : both . Maokai is one of my favourite champions in the game and this is for the roles he can take during the game. This build is made to make you whitstand, disrupte and damage during a team fight . The full defence masteries , the combination of the runes and the half-tank , half-mage items transform Maokai into a true battlemage.
