Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Twitch is an amazing character. He really is. I believe that anybody who's pro with him is the god of nearly any game. I have gotten insane multi kills, and I rarely die. He is hard to learn to be very good with, but if you can, you will be the king of the arena.
Just a couple of quick tips:
Deadly Poison: Stacks with it are great. It lasts for awhile, and stacked can do damage that can compete with Teemo's poison.
Ambush: Great early game skill. The attack speed bonus does nothing late game as you are maxed out, but stealth is always great for positioning and scouting.
Debiliating Poison: AoE slow? Awesome. AoE slow that does more per stack of poison? Incredible. This skill has made Twitch a killer. Nobody gets away from you with this skill.
Expunge: Very good skill. Incredible when maxed out at level 9, not as effective end game, (you'll be able to kill people so fast it'll be a waste). Use early for early game kills.
Spray and Pray: This skill is his pentakill skill. He can deal his amazing damage, stack lifesteal, and get poison on enemies, ALL AT ONCE! Plus an 80% attack speed bonus is nice earlier game. Try not to waste on a single enemy since you should be able to own them WITHOUT and skills (maybe Expunge early to mid-late game).
DO NOT RUN AWAY FROM SOMEONE FASTER WITHOUT STEALTH. They will get free damage on you. Twitch survives off of lifesteal, so try to attack as much as possible.
If an enemy runs, follow them to their tower. If they come back, stealth and go back to the main fight. You'll starve them of xp while you get extra.
Only use Expunge as a finisher, as it takes your stacks of poison off.
Stuns are not your friend. If you are too low and stunned, get the f*ck outta there.
I start with a Vampiric Scepter to help lane. I usually get first blood and once I die or get around 2k gold I get my first Malady, or I keep building until it's complete. Then I get my second Malady not much later. With these I usually get fed enough so that my Last Whisper takes no time to get. If the game goes on long enough, you can get Madred's Bloodrazor, Infinity's Edge, The Bloodthirster, sell a Malady, and get a second The Bloodthirster. By the time you finish this build you could probably three shot anybody that comes your way.
Reasons for each item:
Malady x2: Malady gives +50% attack speed and +15% lifesteal, great for laning which is Twitch's main advantage.
Last Whisper: More attack speed and armor penetration. Great for taking down tanks.
Madred's Bloodrazor: 4% of enemies health with a rate of 2.5 attack speed makes it an obvious choice.
Infinity's Edge: 80 attack damage, 20% crit chance and 250% crit damage??? Perfect for all physical dpsers.
The Bloodthirster x2: Great damage (up to +100 per sword!) Once you've killed 40 creeps with them both your attack damage will be through the roof. Plus up to 25% lifesteal per sword. FINISHING THIS BUILD WILL MAKE YOU UNSTOPPABLE, GUARANTEED!
