Not Updated For Current Season
With the January 4th 2011 patch tiger stance is Udyr's new found power. Before phoenix stance got the job done but with the new patch out tiger stance is a great nuke and has a wonderful persistent effect and active, increasing your attack speed. I did put this build together without properly testing it but it shows how Udyr doesn't need big damage items to win a fight quickly and with little harm to himself. As you can see with my build I like the blood razor to do most of the work though tiger stance because of my increased attack speed, which allows me to shred most tanks. I also like to go with a more tankish feel if the game is lasting a long time with the purchase of Banshees and force of nature. I know you can go the dodge path with your passive, dodge seals, and ninja tabi but the main problem I seem to face when playing Udyr are stuns, stares, and anything else that can stop me from getting to my target.
I hope this build is instructive to new and veteran Udyr players on how tiger stance is a great skill to us. If you have comment or concerns I would love to hear them and improve upon them to make better builds in the future.
Jungling and Ganking
When jungling always remember to switch to turtle stance right after tiger stance early game this will allow for the buff of tiger stances increases attack speed (From the new patch) to give you that extra mana and health back before your shield wares off. When ganking after reaching level 4 and getting your first point in bear stance always remember to us two stances before coming out of the bushes. This will have your passive maxed when you switch to bear stance to stun and after for tiger stance to give you the max attack speed possible.
If you have a successful run at the gank you should when in tiger stance pull out 65% increased attack speed. 35% from tiger stance (20% persistent aura 15% bonus for 2 seconds) and 30% from the 3 stacks of your passive 10% each.
