Introduction

In most of the games I've played this build and jungle has worked really well for me. Udyr is one of the best jungle controls/gankers in the game. This guide is very simple and will help you last hit and survive almost everyone you encounter if not all. :) GL HF

Runes

I choose Attack Speed marks and glyphs for a hard push and a quick jungle. They also make it very easy to spam your bear strike on multiple targets. I choose Armor seals for jungle and sustainability, and Armor pen quints for those pesky tanks and stronger minions.

Masteries

I run a 16/0/14 build. I go down to the 3 damage and then jump to the utility tree down to flash. I feel Flash is a huge spell for udyr and his ganks.

Creeping / Jungling

I am a huge fan of starting at blue buff for 2 reasons, the first is the mana regen and CDR. Second is it creates a path and sets up a time to almost to the second keeps you in the jungle and ready to gank. At the beginning of the game grab tiger stance and activate it while still standing in the starting pool, giving your self a dot on your next attack and then buy your cloth armor and 5 health pots. Go to blue and stand in front of the river to watch for ganks, they will ruin you! Get leash or not it works just the same. Kill blue and go to wolves. Then wraiths, double golems, and then red. Don't go back! Go to wolves and they should spawn right as you get there and then go to wraiths. You should have just over 700g. Go back and buy madred's razors and if you used all your potions buy 1 health pot. Go back to the golems and then ready your self for a gank or pull one person from bot to do dragon.

Skill Sequence

For my Skills I like to start with Tiger stance . Thanks to the buff, tiger stance is extremely OP at the beginning of the game. Then I get turtle stance for the shield and so I can get my monkey stance to three, then I level tiger and then I grab bear to open the gank option. after that I alternate between bear and tiger. I would highly recommend putting a point in phoenix stance for multiple reasons. One for the attack damage for tiger stance. Two if you activate it right before a team fight, it is your a.o.e. and for everyone it hits it will give you that assist for each one you hit. I would finish my points in bear and tiger and then go to level five in phoenix stance and then finish with turtle.
