i like this guide, but i would not recommend to get two sunfire capes.
And i wouldnt get Abyssal Scepter, because the AP scales veeerrryyy bad on Mordekaiser.
i Would go for Haunting guise 200 HP 20 magpen (and cheaper than AS) and run for a trinity force (Mace of Spades rock with Trinity force proc) and you have runspeed like a madman.

Abyssal Scepter is a great item, but its too expensive for just mag res and 20 mag reduce.
If you got unlimited money you could think of getting it, but i never bought it so far.
Sorc Shoes, Sunfirecape, Haunting guise, Trinity Force, Force o nature, Guardian angel.
(Very offensive Build)
I dont play Morde as full tank, because he istn a full tank, because of the lack of CC :D He is half damage dealer!

I usually play 3v3 with my bro and I almost always play Amumu. He switches between Mordekaiser and Lux depending on his mood, both of which provide as an awesome support for my Amumu ( and ). Since I am only against 3 enemies I go mostly DPS/Tank and my bro goes more DPS with Morde. I usually for initiation with , and and then while he stands back and throws down even more damage. This effortlessly wipes out the entire other team. Unless of course there are other tanks which we will easily finish with another and or possibly a ghost he picked up from the fight. :P

Very great build, detail and all. I actually learned a lot and will definitely refer my brother to it. He might stay happy with his DPS (immortal tank on ocassion when I'm not around) but just so much playstyle and an obvious mastery of the champion. Well done!

To inDane: I go Abyssal Scepter as my last item, I would never get it early or mid game. I get it bc my biggest weakness when down to my last item is not having enough magic resist, while increasing my damage with the magic pen of myself and everyone else. I will go Guardian Angel or Banshee's Veil if I really need the extra protection from CC / casters or from heavy dps teams.

CC is possible if you go Frozen Mallet Once you have that, Mordekaiser and your ghosts from your ult can slow anyone now anytime they make contact.

Nothing wrong going two [sunfire cape]s when it increases your output damage with threat, armor, and health all in one item. If I need more armor I'll get Thornmail against squishies or Randuin's Omen against tankier AD.

You're more than welcome to make your own guide, but this is what works best for me. I will make alternative builds in the future in case I have to change the scenario depending on team setup.

To animorte: 3v3s are so good for Mordekaiser. He's very dominant on that map if you know how to play it right. Going this build does work, but if you're going have Amumu on the same map, I agree he should go more of a dps spec of kaiser ; ). Appreciate your support and hope he learns a lot from it as well! =)

Lol at the wall of the text for the mos easyest and nubest hero in the game , if u dont kno how to build opkaiser ur a nub the end ..

opkaiser...heh...that's why hes what? F tier?

Guess we shall see if he becomes OPkaiser (notice the caps) when he gets his rework.

Is it me or after today's update Frozen mallet's effect does not work on our puppets anymore?

If so I would probably reconsider getting frozen mallet as your puppet becomes pretty useless other than tanking towers....

While I understand this build may work for other, I dislike this build.
This build focuses far too much on the ghost for your dmg. Now, while the recent changes to Mordekaiser probably haven't been taken into consideration, I will go out and say it. Morde's ghost sucks now.
It is horrible. It does small dmg and has low HP. That is why I believe this build is now useless. The entire build is focused around "Kill that squishy with your Children of the Grave!"
Well, that I can do. But after that, it is anybody's game. I feel, as you put it, "A walking hunk of meat," and do very little dmg. This is far too much tank, and Morde makes a pretty bad tank with his lack of hard CC. Another thing I dislike is your hate for Rylai's. This is a great item for me, as you dont have to have a ranged DPS to be able to CC correctly.
Anyway, I dont like this build, but it is well written and described so I therefore leave you at +- 0.

@Bobert you claim the recent changes to the ghost makes it do "small damage", however if you actually read the patch notes,
which I quote from the link,

* Now steals 24/29/34% of the target's maximum health over the duration up from 24/28/32%
* Now deals half damage to the target initially and half damage over time
* Duration increased to 10 seconds from 8
* Total ability power ratio over the duration increased to 0.04 from 0.016
* Fixed a bug where Children of the Grave was improperly blocked by Black Shield
* Mordekaiser now gains 20% of the pet's Ability Power, reduced from 25%
* Mordekaiser now gains 20% of the pet's Attack Damage, reduced from 25%

# Children of the Grave Pet

* The pet now gains 75% of Mordekaiser's ability power and damage at all 3 ranks and the ratio itself no longer increases with Mordekaiser's total ability power
* Pet health bonus reduced to 15% from 50%
* Fixed a bug where the pet was not generating shield for Mordekaiser when hitting inhibitors

Firstly the ghost damage buff was buffed pre level 16 since it is 75% at all levels, the main difference being that Mordekaiser is buffed slightly less from the ghost. Who exactly did you kill to say that it is low? because a fed ashe/twitch/tryn shouldn't need the damage buff all that much to lay waste to their team in a 6v4 situation. The only ****py thing is the health bonus reduction, which would just make handling the ghost trickier. No more kamikaze tower diving ghosts for me :<

And lastly, @ un4given, Hmmm the items you gave there are well worth trying, the one time I did go ad morde, I did buy sunfire first and it worked well, and with the recent buff to mace of spades, I think the ad morde is probably much more viable, so i'm going to give it a few tries when I get time to play again^^ (oh and yes the pets get 75% of your ad, which would probably make them slaughter everything with ad :P)
