Braum He cant do much to u, this will be a easy lane. Just stay away from him and dodge his Q. U can autoattack him a lot for extra money and damage. After hit 6 make sure u silence him in fight so he cant use his ult.

Introduction

Hey guys, Im a real Raka lover for more than one season. I played myself in Solo Q only with this twink account from B3 to Plat2 with Raka in one season with 56% win rate, over a few hundret ranked games and a 0/4/16 KDA.
This build and this playstyle will work in every Elo up to high Diamond.

First of all I have to excuse me for my English, Im no native speaker but I hope u guys will know what I wanna say.

After the last patch the pre-season started and this was a real important patch for Raka. Even me, after more than one year over 5k Raka games every single game the same build... I had to change it with that patch.
I admit since that patch u will need some more skill to play Raka that way, cause ur strength - safeing power is different than befor because of the lack of cdr in Locket u wont build it first. So u got first another heal in Redem now instead of a shield. And u have to land this heal to compensate the shield. U also have to stay more safe behind than ever befor, cause the heal item u get instead of the shield most times is for ur mates more forward so u still only have the normal sums and skills for u instead of a shield with ur mates together. Of course u have to train more overview now. But if u have the experience and the training with this build - u´ll rock it out.

The most important reason for me to create this guide is the blamer and flamer in Solo Ranked. So many times my uncommon way to play Raka forces people to flame. I got tired to explain every game why, thats why this guide is especially for u lovely people who already in pick think I will loose our game.



I dont want to say this it is the one and only way. And please note maybe pro and lcs players do it in a different way. But I do this guide for solo or duo Ranked and everyone knows its almost a totally different game u play if u go solo ;) And if someone in a pre-team finds some inspirations here he will be able to integrate it into his team.

Raka is a Champ who is always seen in different ways. Its like "useless pick" vs "OP Supp". A fact is - only ppl who dont know how to play with a Raka or need to be carried over the game cause they rnt able to get the use out of their roles and champs will say its a useless Supp. But in such cases every Supp will be useless.

The good thing I rly like in this way to play her - u have almost no counters. Only some annoying matchups and u fit in in almost all matchups in ur team too. My build fits in a team without tanks too. Cause this season there r so many games without tanks or tanky champs played with full damage builds. No need to flame for a non-meta, non-cc, non-tanky useless Soraka pick. Ill show u how to rock her in every situation.

Pros / Cons with my build


Pros:

    Heal, Heal, Heal
    Nice escape possibilities with a good tankiness
    Every lane should be won or at least hold even if ur adc isnt the best
    Mind blow to the enemyteam
Con:

    U will be max flamed and the only reason for ur mates if u loose a game and u`ll be reported many times.
    Soraka is a team depending Supporter, u cant do anything if ur Team is completly unsupportable.

Useless? Not that unicorn!

Spells


The spells. Oh holy, thats my most important reason to get a report. Troll-Report of course ;)

Okay, they r not common picks for Raka Sums. But I`ll explain u why they r the best - for that build and playstyle.

Barrier A Soraka never should be that deep that she has to use a flash. That simple it is. And if she needs a flash, she played wrong - my oppinion. The only two cases I may miss flash from time to time is in the drake place or the baron place cause most of ur mates wont have the overview to help u with a slow or a stun to escape and flash or jump over the wall and u r for real the last lonely unicorn.
U r no dmg Dealer, u r no Tank ur job is to heal, to slow and to put the silence into the enemies. It will take some practise and experience to learn how to stay far behind, passiv but tough usefull. And keep in mind - if u r the front or in ur teammates u give a free won teamfight to the enemies. Cause most of the enemies will try to reach u to put u out of the game and if u stay behind, they first have to go through all of ur mates ur adc and apc included. Even if they reach u or u have something like a Zac or a Renekton in the enemyteam who dont give a .... about others to reach u, u r more tanky and bait them to stay in the middle of ur team. U will be able to stay alive much longer and it is great for engages too. In laning phase u shouldnt die except they come as four or five. But for sure u never should die while a tower dive and they will try it many times, cause noob Raka without flash ;) If u already have finished Redemption u wont die even if they dive u as two or maybe as three. And btw... since the new mobile jungle u also have some exploding seeds u can use for ur escape. Every seed - one non-needed Flash.
But I think the most important fact about barrier is u will face a lot of Ignite ur whole life as a Raka will burn in ignites. My first question to suspiciously mates always is - What shall I flash? Their ignites? U can tank the ignite even on lvl 1 with ur barrier. Most times u force the enemy supp to take a ignite vs u so ur adc has free dmg cause no Exh. Now u think - yeah but u dont have an Exhaust too. Let me show u why.

Heal Yeah no Exhaust. First of all u can say ur adc in pick phase they can change their heals if they want to. Good adcs will fill with exhaust, ignite or ghost. Real good ones take teleport. But most times they will start flame u and keep their heal. So u have to deal with that. Its known, that heal only heals 50% of its max if a heal already was used a short time befor. But thats okay. U need ur heal for urself cause even if the enemies ignore u... U will be low life in a long fight or a hard trading lane, so u cant heal anymore. Or to fill the heal-breaks in early game with it. And u need it for the speed buff too. And let me tell u - it works. A gank failed? Ur jungler sucks and almost give free kill to their adc? U have a heal for him while the adc may his own already has used. And if u do some maths u will see in early and mid game a heal, even its the second used heal will heal more than an exhaust will reduce the incoming damage, cause an exhaust may can be too late, most supports arent even able to put it at the beginning of the engage.

Items

UPDATE 6.22, how to use Redemption right: I dont want to write it in every matchup explanation, so here how to use it. Most important: dont watch it! Set it and go on with ur job. So many supps stand there and watch if it hits. Even if not u cant change it anymore so dont waste time with watching^^
Teamfights: cast it at the beginning if it is a real 5o5, in the middle of all. Keep it if u already know u can keep ur mates alive without the heal so u can use it if its really needed or a enemy wants to run away with low life. If u r not sure pref to cast it in the middle of the teamfight area when it starts.
Laning, escape: if u get a gank cast it in the moment when ur jungler arrives at the enemy. Cast it more to their turret direction so they will stand in it for sure even if they try to run. If u need the heal while u try to escape or want to cast it for a mate who is running - cast it in front of him/u so u/he need/s two steps to get in the circle. The healing time will be over if u/he r/is in it. No matter if u cast it for escape or in a teamfight, ping the area for ur mates to make them pay attention to it and give them the chance to get in it.
KS or a running low life enemy: do it the same way like u want to heal ur mates only with ur enemy.

Keep in mind u can use it IF-U-R-DEAD. So if u get rekt hard u still have this heal for ur mates and with the incredible range its the most dangerous weapon for u in a fight.

After play a lot with the new patch I found some real nice fun-toys for Raka.
Knight`s Vow for example. In the beginning I thought I take this to safe my adc cause I had some games with a lot of oneshot Champs in the enemy team. Than I saw - it is great for the bind partner AND me. Why? U get more heal than u get damage. So bind it to ur Kata Midlaner or ur Renga Jungle and they will be more safe but heal u meanwhile. If ur ADC is good take it for him too but dont use it for someone who dont do that much damage in ur team no matter why.
Hextech GLP-800 is great for monster tank fights if u go oom and be focused, its passive will help u and u will have another slow for engage/disengage. U can take it if u r okay by urself with sums, items and ur mates after finished the first five items.

But please - get in use with this playstyle befor u use those items and my current builds. It depends very hard on positioning with vow, need training to land redem and has less deff than the warmorgs and visage build. But if u r in use with my Raka u will love my current builds with vow.



Like I said befor got Raka a nerf in her CD at W. And maybe u recordnized I play her without flash ;-) Thats why the boots r my first item after upgrading the Ancient Coin one time. U got 10% CDR and u will be faster than the others cause most times all buy their boots later. So u will be able to dodge many skills and if u get ganked u will be able to escape even without flash. But if u have a balanced and chilled lane u can buy Forbidden Idol first cause u will get ur cdr too but got stronger heals and a higher advantage. So u may will be able to change the lane situation.

Depending on the game situation u get sightstone or already Redemption. If u r still in laning go for Redemption, if u r already out of ur lane or go deeper buy Sightstone first. Most times u wont be in laning anymore so u should pref sightstone befor finish redem. Buy the Oracle Alteration when u got Sightstone but only when u have Sightstone and with lvl9 go for Farsight Alteration.
Redem is the new MUST-HAVE for Raka since 6.22. And holy - 10% life TRUE DAMAGE? Who said Raka need ap?^^ U r full cdr now. Except u go without cdr runes, than u have to buy the Kindlegem in Visage befor u r full cdr.

Now u should build Locket of the Iron Solari. If u see u cant outheal the oneshot potential of a fed enemy like a fed Fizz, Kha or something like that and they one shot ur mates u may could only buy the Forbidden Idol from Redem and do Locket than befor finish Redem.

U should go for the next item with spirit visage. We all know it - a fed enemy who is able to oneshot someone out of the team, especially some AP-Carries. Thats why Spirit Visage. U got more MR, more HP and u get more heal from ur ult, ur sum, redem and ur Q so u max ur survive chance. Dont buy the Kindlegem first, u already will have ur full cdr. (Except without cdr runes, than buy the Kindlegem first.)
Now upgrade ur Sightstone and Nomads to Oasis so u get the last place free for Warmogs.
There is no sense to buy Warmogs earlier than as last item, cause u wont have the hp for its passive befor u finished Visage. So build it as last. Buy the Giant`s Belt first. Some enemy teams will ignore u or wont be able in late-mid to late game to come to u and try to kill ur mates with focus. With warmogs u stand behind and eat fish and chips while ur hp restores by its own and u`ll be able to perma heal with the life regen and the max cdr.

If u have problems to escape from the enemies or u need more Deff u can play without Warmorgs. Build Talisman instead to have a sprint item and more armor. Also upgrade ur Sightstone too than. U only got 500 hp less than with warmorgs and 150% less life regen.

If the game isnt finished yet change ur boots, cause u wont need cdr anymore after finished the build. MR Boots if there is lot of CC in the enemy team or Armor Boots if there is heavy AD. And finally buy an Elixir of Iron too.
Sometimes the game will go over 1h. Most times I sell the Talisman and buy Thornmail. If u have the build with Oasis just keep it and change only ur boots.

With this build u r max Deff with a lot of HP, not less times u will be the most tanky one in ur or even in both teams. U heal urself like a machine with spirit and u safe ur little Banana with ur sums max, what means - perma heal in all life situations ;)






With my common build (Fullbuild 1) u will have 4,2k life, 130 armor, 160 mr. With changed boots u will have a balanced Deff build with 4,2k life, 160 armor & mr.

Skill Sequence

There r some things u should keep in mind to use the skills right.

Starcall Try to precast it, so u try to hit the enemies at the place where they will walk and dont cast it to the place they r standing. If there is the enemy supp in the bush and u dont have a ward ready so u can spam it to make him go out there. In the first level u should only cast it when u have less than 75% hp to heal urself cause u need to care about ur mana. Keep in mind, the longer the cast way the longer it needs to hit. After u cast it, try to walk some steps away from the enemy, so u get the movement speed too. The Buff will work when the starlight animation hits u, not befor. So keep in mind u dont get the buff immediately when Q hits.

Astral Infusion Ur quint essence. In the early game take care u dont cast it only because ur adc lost a few hp. But dont cast it too late too. Here u need some experience when there is need to cast it and when not. Cause sometimes a lane only uses a few autoattacks to ur adc and than a long time nothing so he can regen it on his own. My simple rule to myself while normal trading on lane in the real early - after two skills a heal, while autoattacks no heal, except they go all in for u. This means for the first five level. After u hit lvl6 u have to use it almost perma to keep ur adc up. Better keep ur adc full life even if u get half life because of that. But heal urself with ur Q and pots. There is no sense if u stay alive for one more hit from the enemies if u can give ur adc this life for maybe the last hit for one kill, if u r in troubles while a gank or a harrassing lane.
While trading u should try to land a Q and heal ur adc after that so he gets the regen-buff from ur Q too. Keep in mind that it takes some time till Q will be on ur adc too so the little starlight in the animation after landing Q which flies to u has to be already on the way to u to make u able give the buff to ur mates too with W.

Equinox This skill makes teamfights. Many important skills cant be cast or done while u r silenced. U pref to cast it to the mages in a teamfight. Like a Ori in a silence... or a Syndra, they r all free kills if ur team is with u and see u silenced them. In laning most times its most effectiv if u do it on the support. A Sona, Zyra, Braum, Nami..... All useless in a silence especially in the early game it takes some time to walk out of it. Or maybe u get a gank by the enemy Lissandra? U see her skill through the wall she is comming - silence and if ur adc isnt afk he can kill her easily. U can unterrupt some ults too, like the ult of MF or Nunu. Lucians Ult u cant unterrupt.
Thats only the first of the OP skill section in Rakas E. The root is the other one. Most people have problems to hit the root. In early its very easy to land it while try to disengage. U cast it to the position u r standing. So if the chasing enemy runs through it he is rooted or he has to run around which gives u the same time. To root while u r the one who is chasing is a bit more complicated. A good point is if u run right behind a enemy u have to be at the same high on the map like him, than cast a Q to slow and silence on max range in front of him. If he is already slowed with a hard slow like Nasus W its enough to stay behind him and cast it on max range. U will have to practise this a few times till u got a feeling for it.
I almost forgot one of the most obvisous but still often not known fact - it only does damage to champions. Minnions, Baron or Drake wont get damage by ur E.

Salvation Sure the most obvisously thing - u can run faster to ur mates who need help. But thats not all. If a teamfight failed or a gank or a dive by ur team u also can use it to escape. If ur mates r good they will help u with ur passive if they r low life they will stay in range and run in the direction u need to run to escape so u got the running boost. If u r running with a mate u also can use it to keep ur mate alive from perma chase poke or if a global ult is comming like Jinx or EZ ult but still got the running boost, just keep him low enough for ur passive but high enough to survive every possible skill incomming.
U also can safe ur mates with that skill to run faster in front of them to safe them from a cait Ult with barrier even if u r low life too.

Wish Ur ult is the spell which makes ur enemies hate u. If u have a good and freezing lane or when u r even under turret - but safe - u can give ur ult to ur mid, jung or top if they got a gank or do a gank. But make sure u cast it when they r lower than half life to get the max heal of it. If it is a small fight 1vs2 on top or mid u also can cast ur ult befor ur mate makes a kill, if he needs the heal or not, cause u will get the money from the assist, farming with style ;)

Runes

The runes r very special and can be changged by everyone on his/her own. U dont need AP or magic penetration, for ur insane 230 Q-dmg at lvl18? Not rly. Sorakas weakness is in the early game. Thats why I dont use scaling runes, cause in the first three lvl the first gank will come most times if their jungler knows how to jungle. After preseason started I changed to cdr runes. Every time I said its useless but since Locket didnt have cdr anymore u would have full cdr only in mid-late game, too late in my oppinion. Thats why I did 10% cdr in the runes.

In the second page I showed the max Deff build, my old build. If u have a matchup with mostly late game champs like u got Trundles, Shyvannas, Vaynes or something like that u can still take this old build cause u probably will get to the late game so to ur full build.

Masteries

There r some obligations a Raka simply needs. Those r Intelligence for ur CDR, Windspeakers Blessing and Runic Armor.

All between those ones u can choose free. But I think there is no sense in others than the ones I picked in the mastery build. Only some masteries in the Resolve section r subjectiv possibilities.

Choose between Fearless (good late game) and Insight (good for early game). If u r sure u will play with Warmogs Perseverance can be strong in combo. Or u take it if u will play without to fill the lack of hp regen.

Team Work

Laning: Sometimes ur adc ask u what u pref as adc. The best lanes r with Draven, Urgot, Vayne and Sivir in my oppinion. At least they r my favos ;) But u will go well with all of the adc champs, even with troll adcs. I played a long time Ranked with a Heimer and a Yi on bot. The most OP lane I ever played with a pre was a Raka-Swain combo on bot.
Take a look at the matchup description to get some details about ur laning enemies.
As Raka u will stay many times under ur turret. Its important ur adc gets the farm anyway and dont loose it to the turret. So if there is no other damage incomming to the minnions u can prepare them for ur adc to farm. The caster Minnions: do one autoattack. The melee Minnions: do one Q and a autoattack. The canon Minnions: do one Q and two autoattacks or just do autoattacks till it only gets 25% life. With that set phrase ur adc only needs to wait one tower hit and will be able to last hit the minnions. But watch him, if he does the damage on his own or not or if ur minnions already do damage.
Also try to autoattack as much as u can the enemies to earn the 3 extra gold per autoattack, just dont get poked while u do that.

Warding Controll Ward: Dont put that ward into the river bush, always into the first bush behind or above ur lane into the jungle. U will be ganked a lot as a flashless Raka and u will stay a lot of games under the turret with ur adc so ur controll ward is only free gold if u put it into the river bush.
With my build u have to save wards in the early game cause sightstone will be a late item. So learn to watch the map, u see the enemy jungler on top and their mid is on his lane and ur ward in the river bush went down? No need for a new ward. Place the ward three seconds after the jung disappeared from top and asap u see the mid disappeared from his lane. Except u saw the backport. Do it as safe as possible, just think all the time they may be already here. Dont forget the jungle ward which was patched in. Use it if u have totally no vision.
Also use wards wise for ur bot bushes. There is a Tresh in the bush? R u able to stay behind minnions and far away enough for his knockup? No need for a ward. Put the ward there if the minnion wave is almost dead or u have to go ahead or ur jungler will gank now. Cause most times u wont stay in this situation. The enemies will push the lane more after the minnion wave or the enemy supp will leave the bush cause u pushed the lane back to the freezing point. But most times u arent blind in such situations cause ur adcs get nervous and ward it on their own ;) thats okay as long as u have ur wards for the important places.
Drake ward is a thing.... Ward it if u think its necessary.
With level 9 use ur blue ward as much as u can, if u r still in lane, ward around the drake in bushes and around the jungle behind u. If laning already ended try to set wards completly in ur jungle, so u can see any enemies who r out of position and easy to kill. If u r real ahead and even in the enemy side of the map put them on strategy places like blue, red, drake or much used ways through the jungle. U also can use them to check a trap at any bushes.

Ganks: If u dont have a jungler with high cc for engage his gank like a Seju with her ult or Skarner u will engage. Yeah u, the little unicorn. Most times it works if u just run in the middle of the lane not near the bushes, near the river and wait. The most enemies will go for u, just keep urself alive with pots, Q and use ur two Sums and if already finished Redemption. Timing is all, dont go in too early or u wasted all for nothing. When ur jungler is at the end of the drake cave u can go in or when he is in ur junglebush (from the left map side). Thats why I love laning against Blitzcrank and Tresh , they have ur engage, just get hooked or grabbed. Look in the matchup explanation for more details how to do it. Ofc it also works with engager junglers, most times it should be a safe double kill for ur mates with a hard cc jung if u engage that way. U will need some practise to know who u can face and when u have to go out of them again.

Get ganked: It depends on the enemy who comes. For example ganks from a Lissandra r easy to handle. Silence to her spawn point and she has to go again or is a free kill for ur adc. Also a Tf, just a Silence to his ult point. Ryze and Swain from a TP r easy to handle too. Make sure ur top pushes the top tower and dont come with tp too. U should be able to safe the situation anyway so its more worth to push the tower on top while the enemy has tp. If a jungler with hard cc is coming, like Gragas, Sejuani, Skarner or Nocturne make sure u and ur adc dont stand beside each other, keep space between u, so they go on ur adc and u will be able to safe him or they go on u so he can kill at least one or two till u r dead. Try to unterrupt a dmg ult if u can. Like MF ult, Nunu or Galio Ult. Dont forget ur Redem to use if u have it already.

Tipp: if the enemy has a Nocturne jungle and he use his ult, count in ur mind till two and cast ur Ult too. Or if u saw one of ur mates was low life cast it asap. Some ganks can end in a double kill for ur mates.
Also counter-ult is with Karthus. If he casts his ult use urs too.


Teamfights: Well, there is no really concept u can use in every teamfight because of the high number of possibilitiesfor a teamfight. Only sure thing: use ur Redemption if there is the real trouble on. If all r in each other and start the teamfight cast it into them. Most times the other supp will do it too but than urs is important to make the other Redem from the enemy useless. Make sure ur Q is on CD into the enemies, heal ur front lane and try to safe ur adc first only with Locket and ur Sum, so u can make sure ur frontline is alive as long as possible and ur carries still alive. If there is not that high burst damage u also can walk straight into them and let the enemies burn a lot to u. In the beginning its hard to keep a overview in a teamfight. So maybe u just concentrate on keep ur spells on CD, Silence to the one where it is the most effectiv, most times its mages, supps and Junglers. Try to hit as much as possible from the enemy team with ur silence but if there is something like a Orianna, Kennen or Zyra silence them for sure, no matter if they r the only ones silenced. Ur ult depends on ur mates. If u have a tank its ok if he dropps low life, try to keep him alive as long as u can and only cast ur ult when another one of ur team also dropps lower than half life to get max use of it. If the enemies r really low when ur tank is almost dead maybe let him die. Dont burn everything for one, most times it isnt worth it. But for moves and plays like this u will get a feeling after a few times u played Raka.

Dont think u r bad only because u die in a teamfight which is won. Or think u r bad cause u have games u died a few times more than usual if it is for engages. As an engager I use Raka for or as a gamemaker like Raka in teamfights its normal u die a few times.

Just keep it as low as possible. Most times u should be the one with the fewest deaths or the second fewest in the end. Than u r fine.

Video Section

The Tresh-Engage, u can also do this with a Blitz. But with a Blitz or if they have ignite u have to go away from them earlier and u wont be able to facetank that much like here.



This is.... yeah can I call this engage? I guess this probably always will work. A stand-around Raka without Flash, u can bait everyone.



How to outplay a couple of skills with Silence and Slow. Liss is one of the best examples but this plays also work fine for Bards E, Silence or slow into Treshs Lantern when he throw it to get someone near, with an Urgot ult, LB if she jumps to u silence urself so she cant jump b again, if an Yi slide through minnions silence his dropp point etc.



The potential u got with an adc who filled with flash/barrier instead of a second heal. Max survive chances in a 3vs2 with hard cc, won after it became a 3vs3.

General anti-arguments

- Why play Soraka with totally no AP while her selfheal from Q and Heal depends on Ap?

True. But the common Soraka AP-Items have almost no defense, its not worth for the bit more damage and the few hp more from Q-heal. And - since u have Redemption u have a high self heal item. No need to loose Deff for a little self heal. And since I discovered Vow for Raka I have enough heal thanks to my binded mate. And the Heal stacks with AP yes but in my oppinion still not worth to loose so much Deff for it. Especially since u can tank 3-5 ults of the enemies and a huge amount of damage with that playstyle its more than worth to play her without ap cause u will have the role of a tank-healer.

- Why no red trinket at level 9 while it is the common trinket for supps?

Yeah but I think its not the best idea to send a soraka facecheck the jungle and bushes. Ur adc or ur jungler can buy a red trinket instead.

- Why no exhaust? Why such selfish sums?

Soraka is a healer. Why the adc should take the heal if he has a healer? Just logic the healer takes heal while the carry takes a sum to put pressure into the game like teleport, exhaust or ignite. I get many times flames for my heal and Im the one who lost the game for them. I always ask those people if they see the loosing reason in a Support with ignite too because no exhaust.
And anyway - keep the most usefull supporting thing safe and u win the game. And as a full healer in a game with less healer champs its just important to keep u alive. Plus - u give a passive Champ a good engage possibility and make a squishy Champ tanky.

- Why u dont want to fit in to a common Raka playstyle?

Well, true that it is very special that way. In Solo Q u will have Problems with that cause there r many randoms who r really hidebound. For them is only one single way the right one. But if u mastered a champ u can get the max out of it. And as a not common tank supp in a season with lacks of tanks or only offtanks, its just the way to fill the best way. Of course u depend on ur teammates and if they refuse to fit in the matchup and u have a perma pushing adc, a non ganking jungler cause "dont gank trolls", people who refuse to group and mates who feed their lanes cause they cant play safe or just farm.... U will loose and u will be the one and only reason for ur mates why u guys lost such games. But if there are people who know their role, know the in-deep-game knowledge and in the best way know their champs too u will have such a dream bot lane and a very nice game. U only can support a supportable team.

Long text but short way: good teammates will love ur playstyle and pick, even if they r curious about it the first time and will fill wise or know how to use a double heal.


- Why pick Raka in a counter or into a hard lane like Annie or Zyra if u know it befor u have to pick?

If u mastered the gameplay with Soraka u dont have any hard counter. The only thing u may have is a hard lane. But isnt there a Jungler who can help u to hold ur lane and may feed ur adc? And even if u only can hold the lane, its more than other supps may could do vs a real hard harrassing lane. U can prevent feeding on the enemy adc. The game isnt only laning too u have a Team and in a Teamfight a Soraka is a real hard Support. She can make a fight to a 8vs5 with her heals and let the enemy mess up with her silence.


The biggest Problem playing Soraka is u really need a supportable team. As a Soraka u will only win if u have one or two good mates in ur team who u can work with to go ahead. And thats the hardest challenge in Solo Ranked games.
But if u have two teams with the same skill level - the Raka team will always win with this way to play her. And u will have the chance to carry a okay-team vs a good team. And if u have a premade as adc or jungler who knows u with that playstyle u guys will rock it out.

Summary

To show it really works and Im not kidding here a typical match history if I go solo or with one pre.







And to convince the last sceptics who think Raka that way is the loosing reason - here the opposite. Nothing changed, only the mates. Sutarday afternoon, schools out, whole random teams. And still in every game one of the ppl with the fewest deaths, most positive kda and won lane except one game.
Of course this is not nice to look at, this happen really less times and is the hardest case. Dont get shocked by it cause even with those fail matches u´ll be able to win a lot like me with almost 60% win rate in 900 ranked games. But I put this in here to make u keep in mind u only can support a supportable team.












I hope I may were able to show some of u a good way to rock Soraka. Of course this playstyle isnt nice for everyone but maybe u try it some games to learn more about ur Raka.
And if u mastered farming with a non-dmg Soraka while ur adc isnt in lane or stay safe and alive without flash but beeing though usefull u will notice a different gaming niveau with all other champions too.

Even if no one else ever will play Raka that way I wanted to share it so may some people find some tipps here anyway.

As a Support u r one of the two real Carries with the jungler. U have to carry the lane and the jungler is the supp of all lanes. And the Starchild helps all in the team even if she isnt near.
