Yea it is not perfect by any means, this is mostly a build for fun, I mean c'mon spamable AoE damage what can be more fun? I don't really like the skill shot as I play with bad latency most of the time and yes I could throw in some damage items to help make the most out of it when I can lock it onto something. As I said before though I am still testing it and plan to do some modifications to it in the future and might very well throw in maybe something like a Lichbane or something along those lines, I'm just in an AP phase right now and am having a lot of fun with how it scales.

@Nails AP Urgot can be extremely viable I would think, maybe not a pure AP setup like this but an AP/DMG focused build would probably work great.

@Sorcerer Yea even without the DMG items his missiles once you get to that stage of the game are pretty spammable and after a bomb or two you can finish them off wth a few quick ones as they still have some good DMG behind them.

@Catalyst I feel there is plenty room for error with such a low cooldown and low mana usage and how fast your mana regens with this build his bombs are a low cost spammable nuke that can do massive AoE DMG and with a well placed Reverse and a missile or two you can take someone down and pick people off in team fights very quickly.


The best part I feel about this build is the element of surprise, I don't see anyone going full AP with Urgot and most people will think "Oh I can just tank this bomb and run away before he can fire any missiles at me" at least that's what I see happens most of the time. So one good placed bomb early-mid game can clear and entire creep wave AND get whatever squishy-slightly beefy champ in the mix to low enough HP to keep them wide open for ganks or even potentially kill them or force them to have to back off.


You will most likely not get many kills with this build but will very often get more assists than you know what to do with.

That's just how I play Urgot myself there are way better ways to play him I'm 100% sure of that.

Thank you all for your input on my build though, I will update it with changes as I do more testing and experimenting with him.

This is a "OK" build but does not give any room for error. Mixing it up a bit and adding 1 or 2 damage based items would help, the boots are really not mandatory so I would go with something else, since you seem to be going for an AP build I would get a amplifying tome. Other than that this build is playable :)

though on the other hand, the missles are only the other half, and do quite a bit of damage on their own, so either way, AP's not completely out of the question

Ap scales well, but ultimately shield and bomb are only half your arsenal. Ap urgot is just not viable.
