Mindset
- No matter what you get out of this guide or use this guide for, remember, the game is about fun, unless you're playing competitively.
- That doesn't mean you shouldn't try to win every game with all you have. You should! Winning is a lot more fun than losing 90% of the time, it's just human nature.
- Learn from losses / mistakes. Try getting LoLRecorder, Fraps, etc. and playback some failures to see how to fix them, then practice fixing them. It's the best way to improve your gameplay substantially.
- Just don't go off giving death threats and things like "OMFG UNINSTALL YOU MOFO NOOB". Just don't.
Think About This
During a game you are given two options with teammates that are having a bad game
- : Flame and hate on them until they submit to your every whim and are about ready to hurt themselves because of how stupid and hateful you are.
- : Help them fix the problem.
The answer is obvious. There are small ways to do this.- Gank their lane extra often.
- Babysit them.
- Ward for them until they have enough gold.
- Give advice.
- If they ask you to do a simple task for them such as "be quiet for a moment I can't focus with all the spam in the chat / pings", obey.
- Make them feel as though they are a good addition to the team, if they are or aren't doesn't matter.
- Force them to try without yelling at them all game.
- NEVER shove anything down their throat.
