Introduction

This is a Varus build that shows how to dominate bot lane. Varus was released on 5/8/12 and he was a hit. He has some really good farming abilities and damage. He can be built AD, AP, and Hybrid but this build shows AD. I will soon add a Hybrid build so you do damage with his abilities and basic attacks.

Abilities

Living Avengance

On champion kill or assist, Varus gains 40% attack speed for 6 seconds.
On minion kill, Varus gains 20% attack speed for 3 seconds.

Piercing Arrow

Varus starts drawing back his next shot, gradually increasing its range and damage.

Blighted Quiver

Varus' basic attacks deal bonus magic damage and apply Blight stacks on the target for 6 seconds.

Hail of Arrows

Fires a hail of arrows which desecrates the ground and who ever runs over that part of the ground gets slowed.

Chain of Corruption

Varus flings out a tendril of corruption that preads towards nearby uninfected enemy champions, applying the same damage and immobilize if it reaches them. The corruption will continue to spread until there are no further unaffected targets in range.

Skill Sequence

Remember to keep on basic attacking applying those Blights and Piercing Quiver whenever you can because the more blight stacks you have the more damage it is plus the longer you hold it.

Summoner Spells

Recommended Spell Combination

Flash

This spell is really good because it can be used to run away from enemies like hopping over walls or offensively like chasing someone.

Exhaust

Exhaust is good when you are chasing someone and slows them down and also helps in team fights because it reduces 70% and movement speed by 40%. So use it on there carry.

Secondary Spell Combination

Ghost

Really good escape and chase spell. It can be used to run away or to catch up to someone. This is good because flash got nerfed and has less of a teleportation range.

Heal

Really helps in team fights and can save you. This spell can save you or your teammates and is a really good spell for carry's now.

You can switch exhaust out for heal if you want or vise versa.

Situational Items

This item is great against enemies with some good Armor.

Frozen Mallet is good for the slow and the health bonus.

Adds great life steal and the active helps. Also adds some AP which adds some more damage to his Blight stacks.

The passive helps against taking down tanks.

Switch out the last item for any of these. This depends on your game.

In Lane

As an AD Carry you need your farm. With Varus I like to farm with his Q () This is really good because you can farm and poke them with it. I dont recommending poking with his E() because it uses more mana and doesnt do as much damage as his Q. Also remember to keep on poking with your basic attack as it applies Blight.
