This is my first attempt at a guide for a champ, so I figured i would start with my best right next to graves and that is Vayne. Last game I played with her 21/8/11. She is very squishy but with this build Vayne has much more sustain and much less of a squishy. I'm definitely not a league of legends pro by any means, however I'm not brand new to the game either. So give my build a try and lemme know what you think comment or question which ever i would just be happy to see that someone has read and tried my build :D
The masteries i have chosen are 28/0/2, strange i know being all in one category however these i find best to work with Vayne's passives and actives to over the utility and defense tree.
My build gets a lot of questions or has recently why start with the ruby crystal? Because the ruby crystal gives Vayne more life and becomes less of an early game target. Then building the ionic spark not only gives her a attack speed to proc the silver bolts but health and 100 magic damage every fourth attack, so therefore you are getting true damage every third hit and 100 magic every fourth. Next building the berserker greaves for added attack speed and movement of course, now I choose to take damage and life steal over more attack speed with the blood thirster. Of course the phantom dance and blood thirster could be swapped which ever the player prefers. Next after the blood thirster, the black cleaver for not only more attack damage and speed but armor pen. and finish with a final blood thirster for ultimate lifesteal and attack damage.
(Passive)- Night Hunter- Night Hunter is a decent passive especially when chasing down a fleeing victim, it grants 30 movement speed when moving toward an enemy champion.
(Q)-Tumble- Vayne's tumble is effective in multiple ways, you can use her tumble as an escape from pursuers, a way to close gaps from escaping enemies, and used to proc momentary invisibility when final hour is active.
(W)-Silver Bolts- This is the basis for Vayne damage output, every third bolt deals true damage to the enemy which is why my build focuses so much on attack speed, and then attack damage. Silver bolts along with the ionic spark not only deals true damage every third hit but 100 magic damage every fourth hit. Scaling 20/30/40/50/60 for damage and 4/5/6/7/8% of targets max health as true damage.
(E)-Condemn- this move of fires a bolt that pushes an enemy away from Vayne and if pinned against a wall is stunned for 1.5 seconds. condemn deals 45/80/115/150/185 damage to the target(+.5 per bonus attack damage)
(R)-Final Hour- This is Vayne's ult- when tumbling Vayne stealths for 1 second, Vayne gains 25/40/55 additional attack damage, triple the bonus of Night Hunter for 8/10/12 seconds. Vayne's ult is very useful because it is on such a low cool down, adds additional attack damage, and stealth to evade a possible pursuer.
Skill Sequencing for Vayne is fairly simple and can change in each fight but usually start with the R since it has such a low cool down, and then Q, E, Q. With your E make sure when using try not to push enemies out of teammates aoe spells and such and more of try to pin them to a wall. The E is a very useful escape tool as well, pin the enemy to a wall and find a place to flash away and your safe.
Farming on Vayne is super important because this build and most builds for Vayne is expensive, so make sure to last hit with her and not have your lane always pushed to the opposing turret and with Vayne that can be very dangerous as well because pushing your lane like that will get you ganked faster than you can blink cause she is so squishy.
Summoner Spells i prefer flash/ignite or flash/exhaust, perks of flash/ignite, with flash and ignite you can flash in for a kill or flash in early lane ignite for a kill and run away even sometimes late game too, ignite is also great if the enemy team has a champ like Dr. Mundo where your ignite can kill his ult healing ability. Now flash/exhaust is great in a situation where your 1v1 against say a talon or ashe it will slow their movement speed and reduce their attack damage giving you an advantage over them in that engagement. and not only for fighting but with the reduced movement speed you can exhaust, E then run away to escape a possible death.
