If you have tried the typical Veigar AP builds and find them to not work for you. Then give my build a try. The build looks somewhat weird in comparison to the typical Veigar builds but trust me when i say that it works wonders in Dominion. In case your wondering, I have been playing Veigar since the beginning and is my main hero in League of Legends. I will not talk about his moves other than to say that you will need to practice using the stun to instant stun target with the edge of the stun move instead of surrounding the enemy with it.

I chose mostly ability runes for the simple fact that you will be building tankish during the early game and this runes will give you the damage necessary to actually be useful early on. I chose offense Masteries for the same reason.

My build up to has Ninja Tabi for boots but I suggest that you look at your enemy composition before deciding to get the Ninja Tabi; for example, if the enemy team has a lot of silence/stun heroes than you should consider getting Mercury's Thread instead. At the same time you will need to figure out for yourself if to build Frozen Heart before Odyn's Veil if the enemy team is completely AD.

Pros:
-Strong enough to be useful during long team fights.
-Able to take on AD/AP heroes 1on1 most of the time.
-Will not be useless without Ultimate(Primordial Burst).
-Will usually be the last one to fall to the enemy team during team fights.
-Able to defend points in Dominion easily.

Cons:
-Nuke capability of AP builds somewhat missing.(You will prob get more kills with this build anyway)
