Veigar in my opinion is one of the best nuke champs in a game. The champ has great control in team fights with his event horizon. Plus he can Nuke the hell out of the other teams AP champs. Whats better then that?

Some Pros to this build are:
-High Mana Regen
-Great AP (also depending on how well you farm)
-and a great team player

Cons
-Squishie
-Slow
-Can get shut off if not played right
-Short :)

Use your Q as much as possible to last hit. Dont let this distract you from using your normal attack on cooldown. You have to pay attention to your cooldown and try to kill as much minions as possible because you dont want to end up starved and useless

Well the items are pretty self explanitory. There is AP, mana regeneration, and magic pen so that you can not only do alot of damage but you can keep doing it. The is one of the worst champions to end up out of mana with especially if your are being chased. This will result in dieing almost all the time unless a turret or ally helps you out.

I chose the runes because well of course you are going to need some magic pen. So marks of insight are the best choice for you.

The seals you will want are Mp5 per LVL. By the time you are lvl 18 your mana and regen will be great with your passive. You need these to stay in lanes farming with your baleful strike and you definately do not want to run out of mana in a team fight

Now for glyphs i put CdR per level runes. I did this because they are alot cheaper then straight focus runes. Also they are half the IP which is great so you can save more for buy other runes or champs.

Now AP quints are the best thing for you. Veigar doesnt need health if played right so that is why we start with AP to help you farm better with your Q.

I chose 9/0/21 because you get mana penetration and cooldown reduction on offensive and the utility is going to help you alot with your mana and map control.

You also need the bonus speed from utility to help you maneuver.

The skills are in an order for a reason. You want to do as much dmg as possible so we get the Q and E up first, then the Event Horizon last. Event horizon at lvl 2 is a must to save your *** in early game ganks.

I chose ghost and teleport because not only is teleport gonna allow you to get back to your lane quick if you need to buy or you accidently die but if a team fight breaks out in a different lane you can get there to help everyone. Ghost is not only an escape move for you but sometimes Veigar just needs to hit with q 1 more time to get his kill.
