well i think you havent played this build so you can say that rylais is wrong.
you can slow your enemies to hit them with dark matter more easily and i got focused in many team fights so rylais was a must because i dnt want to die.
i could have even bought rod of ages and i thinkthat would be a better idea.

BTW i play veigar on ranked games and i have won 31 games and lost 12 and my K/D ratio is on 11.4 so i think this is not bad

I've played the build before. I played it many times. Yes, it works, is it the best? No. The problems you've got firepower for the nuke. The one nuke. If you're playing Veigar right, you WANT them to come at you. If you're playing him right, you won't NEED the slow. If you're getting Rylais for the slow, you're not stunning right, if you're getting it for the health, you've never played with Rod of Ages. Rylais is expensive and doesn't give you much of what you need as veigar. What if you're playing against Gangplank? Sivir? Shen? Rammus? Anyone with a LEAP or a Cleanse? You don't need a slow. You need a means to kill your opponent before he can scream. If you spend your time covering your weaknesses you weaken your strengths. I like where you're going with the cooldowns, but spamming DM is foolish in higher elos. Especially when facing opponents who will walk though a DM to get at you. Out of the around 600 games of LoL I've played, more than a hundred of them have been with Veigar. You'll eventually abandon it, just like I eventually accepted that DFG is a great ****ing idea.

I digress however. I wasn't trying to **** on your guide. I did enjoy the fact that you are playing an underrated champ. But when you throw around the title, OP Nuker, people get the wrong idea about Veigar. He's not OP, in fact, he could use a buff before he becomes more playable. The sad truth is, he has little place in the current Meta, which is why he is underplayed. Sadly there are better options, and he'll lose his luster when you face better teams with better Synergy. There will be a time when you can't outrun the enemy. What do you do when your opponent won't allow you to farm creeps, ala Gangplank? Or when you are harassed by a good Ezreal, Kogmaw, Annie, Kassadin, or Kat? Veigar isn't played often for a reason. He's slowly making a comeback, and I'm not standing in the way of it, but so far, I've annihilated most Veigars because they didn't count on facing an instant, non-skill shot stun. I'm encouraging Veigar players, but I'm not encouraging people playing Veigar thinking he is Garen or Release Xin; basically an instant win character. Veigar is for more experienced players.

Keep fighting the good fight bro, I've basically set him aside in favor for Annie, because she provides more to a team than Veigar does, particularly a more reliable stun and a nigh endless mana supply, meaning all killer no filler. I play him on occasion, when I feel like downing a rammus or two, but really, when it boils down to it, he desperately needs a buff. He's no Eve, but he needs some love.

Rylais.

You don't need Rylais.

Decent build, but it could be better. While I deeply encourage harassing, when you start fighting better opponents, they see you for the threat you are and don't let you scale. Dark Matter shouldn't be spammed on opponents, it really costs too much for Veigar and should be used sparingly. My advice is, "If you have enough mana to annoy someone with Dark Matter, you have enough mana for a Baleful Strike for AP." Veigar already has enough mana regen by standards I don't think those runes are necessary. Cooldown is a nice idea for farming up ap, but I can't see this build fairing very well against more solid matchups. The trouble with Rylais is the fact that you're paying for a slow, some health and some ap. The truth is this, you have a stun, so that shouldn't matter. And if you are chasing someone through the jungle with Veigar, you're doing it wrong. Veigar should annihilate someone in a shot, and back up. Guardians is also an iffy idea. Yes, that's a free revive. But if your opponents are strong enough to kill you and push your team back, you'll just die to those opponents. Twice.

Alahric recommends DFG for a reason, it gives you cooldown, regen AND a nuke. You lose some killing power in your base attacks but essentially give you nice regen rate and a new way to kill opponents with high health.

My advice is this. If you have enough money for Guardian, get Lichbane instead. It will give you better nuking capability, considering with your cooldowns you can farm around 900-1k ap. You'll have 4 nukes then. Your DFG, Your Q,R and Autoattack. By this time, you can q auto attack people to help with fights, allowing your friends to mop up your foes.

A warning. Veigar is not easy to play. He is easy to FARM with. He is Easy to KILL WITH. However, he suffers against CC, particularly ones that aren't a skill shot, and fast, melee assassins. Learning to play Veigar effectively is about smart decisions. Once you get more time with him, and start playing in higher ELOs you'll know what I'm talking about. I'm glad more attention is being drawn to what I think is one of the most underrated champs in the game. Saying things like Easy To Play drives new players to foolishly die in battle making Veigar lose credibility.

There's one reason why I favor Annie a little more now. She's more trusted. Thanks to idiots overplaying bad Veigars, teams will sometimes refuse to help Veigar in the field, simply because they believe he is unreliable.

Overall, I like your enthusiasm, but it sounds like you need some more playtime with him.
