Well, This guide is nicely written but the usage of the RoA is plainly a mistake, that item doesn't scale well late game especially with Viktor...
Also, putting your deathfire grasp (that is if you get it) as the last item, doesn't really use it very well, try reconsidering that.
Try something else =x~~~

With the q-skill, you have only one target. The laser is AOE, and the minion wave won't change his direction. So you can easily overfarm your mid lane enemy. That's the mainpoint in my strategy: with the laser you should push. And when the enemy stand in tower range, try to harrase him. Like "Dance or Die". A few things:

I always max my q first. it gives guranteed damage and can destroy people at level 3-5. Do not use it to last hit, or it will destroy your mana. As the laser is a skill shot, it can easily be dodged or missed, and costs twice the mana of q in early ranks

As far as items, try to get a DFG before a death cap. It makes pre level -12 bursts more potent.

as a quick guide, it is quite comprihensive, not all that appealing, but not bad for a first time.
