Actually, vlad is an Ult Bot in the super late game.

He does good damage because he takes a solo lane and gets way more farm than the enemies.

He's not as good in higher ELO because he can't reliably out farm and zone his lane opponent.

His damage isn't significant enough in team fights to call him a "Nuker".

A Le Blanc or an Annie will do more damage, but Vlad has tons of health to offset his lower damage.

Boots are too epic on Vlad as first items since they create his Spam/Nuker from minute point 7-10, usually when a well farmed Vlad with 1 Assist can take his Boots and Hextech Revolver. Vlad... needs defensive items, but I never felt like Force of Nature on him, more Abyssal Mask or Zhonya's Hourglass, since you want both HP and AP, as well as some resists. Plus, extra effects of both Zhonya/Abyssal are great. Since for now there are 2 ways to play Vlad, respectivly CDR and Nuker, I main Nuker, but lately i'm doing try-outs with CDR one on Ranked Games, works wonders.

And Teleport is a mistake on Vlad, since his motto "I stay on this cursed lane forever, vamping the **** out of them".

rabadon as last item on vlad when he is one of the best gold farming champs out there? you gotta be kidding me. also that ****py boots? why the heck would you need 15% cdr? grab blue buff+potion and you're fine, just as Galfureye said before me. honestly mate, you are just wrong on vlad. he is a ****in' epic NUKER, he ain't like ryze or swain, he just happens to be the bulkiest mage out there. that's it.

I have to disagree with you Galfureye, the Hextech Revolver is a great item early game. The reason that people buy it is to have a good early game. It gives you spell vamp that you wouldn't otherwise have which greatly increases your kill ratio and your Transfusion potential; it gives you a better chance of survival. It increases your early game so that you can get kills which results in gold; which results into being fed. This item constitutes being fed so that you can get more powerful items later on. Items like the Rabadon's Deathcap. I think that this build has some cool tricks to it and I'd like to use it. Good job man, I like your work. Check out my Vladimir and Karthus builds up today!!!

Sorry but everything about your build is wrong, boots are a terrible starting item, I don't care if Reginald gets it they are bad because Vlad is terrible early game and the harassing power is useless because any good player with harass you back and deal twice the damage. You're better off with something else. Also Ionian Boots are kind of trash, 15% CDR is nothing compared to additional movespeed, spell pen, or CC reduction. Very bad choice, just buy elixirs or get blue buff. Lastly the most flawed thing about this is hextech. It is a bad choice overall, while it may help you early game with laning, it greatly weighs down your snowball into late game and makes your damage weak. Your rabadons should be the very first item you get, not last. Also fail summoner spells because teleport is not needed, you should be able to stay in lane until you get a good amount of speed, you don't need extra lane time.
