Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Vlad is my main character and I play him since he was released. My last match score was 23/3/6 and its very common for him. The blood mage is a very fearsome vision on loading screen
- High Magical Damage
- Good Survivability
- Low cooldowns
- Expensive hero (people are not too used to him)
- Silence and stun are pratically the same for you
- Weak at the beginning
- Expensive hero (got enough ip?)
Go Mid. You should try to last hit minons as much as possible. The enemy wont harass u well enough if you play smart. Your Regrowth and Transfusion will provide all regen you need. If he open his guard, transfuse him, but remember: you are weak at the beginning.
When reaching level 5, its time to harass the enemy. Lower his health so when you get to level 6, you can combo him with ghost>ult>ignite>transfuse>tides>pool>tides>transfuse. Hope u can kill him a go get your boot and soulstealer. Keep yourself in lane till level 9.
Now your transfuse hits hard and has only 3 secs of cooldown. If you see an enemy low on life, ping to your team and ambush him(them) with the same strategy as before. When the money comes, buy rylai and zonya.
Your goal now is to kill as much as possible to build your charges on soulstealer. On team fights, DONT INITIATE and try to keep your tides with 4 stacks do deal as much damage as possible. The fight starts: Ult to get as many people as possible and Tides as soon as its ready. Transfuse the ones low on health. Ignite and use your pool to help your team catch someone trying to run or ghost>pool out of there if needed. Buy your Void Staff, sell the regrowth and buy Lich Bane. Go break some towers. Now, if the game isnt over yet, buy Brillance and Fortitude Elixiers.
Things you should know:
-Do not EVER use your pool to kill minions os just to deal damage. You'll need it and it wont be ready.
-Regrowth is a better start that Tome+pots, cuz you can sell it later for like 70% the price you bought it and the Hp regen will make you more comfortable then having to use pots.
-Flat AP is a better choice on him cuz of the initial burst damage with the combo at level 6.
-You do not fear turrets. If an enemy is low on life and guarding a tower, dont hesitate! Ghost>transfuse>tides and pool out of there or to slow him for the finalizing Transfuse.
-When full itens, you will have over 4000 HP and about 860 AP. This is more than enough to melt anyone not stacking MDEF in a blink of an eye.
Well, this is my first build and, as you may have noticed, my english is poor xD
So, comments will be appreciated =)
