This is my best build for vladimir, vladimir is a good midder because he not have mana, but for use his abilities he need life, and his sanguine pool drain to vlad a lot of life.

Pros:
+In the team fights is very good
+He have a very good damage output
+Have a "immunity" spell. (Sanguine Pool)

Cons:
-Is a squishy in early game
-After the AD carry of the team, is the focuss on team fights.

I have a lot of runes for the ability power , for the passive of vladimir. you can start with 60 ability power and for the passive with 100 of life.

My masteries are 21/9/0 with ability power for the attack , and life for defense.

I for the items buy a lot of ability power and 1 warmogs armor, because the abilites of vladimir drains to he a lot of life.
