Hi guys. A while ago, i started to play Talon. First he was f2p then after that f2p week i bought him because i really liked him and i started to discover his weaknesses and his strenghts. Now i want to share my opinion and experience with Talon with you guys! :)
Pros / Cons
Alot of CC
SQUISHY AS HELL (imo, but that kinda depends on how you build him)
I got Physical Damage and ARP for Quints and Red. The Physical Damage i have for the early game, cause if you have a good early game, you have a great lategame!
Blue and Seals are MR and Armor, also for the early game.
My runes is basiclly focusing on a good early game so you can get fed to lategame.
So... Masteris. My masteries are, atleast what i think, standard AD Carry masteries except that you would maybe take the Crit chance and damage for an normal AD Carry. I got 21 in Offense focusing on Armor Pen and ALOT of damage. I got zero in defense but you can switch the utility points into defense if you want some defense from your masteries. But i run with utility because i want the extra mana regen so i can spam my abilities little more often and the extra buff duration is always nice.
And the best part, ITEMS!!
Talon is an high damage nuker who will kill squishys in 1 sec if he wants to. E-Q-W-R = Dead.
I start with boots and 3 pots because that feels safe but you can always take a Long Sword and 1 hp pot and get the early brutalizer and boots. That's your choice if you feel like you can own your lane opponent and wanna go for the kills and easier minion farm.
The Item build i've chosen here is what i think is the best items for Talon. BT's is INCREDIBLY powerful for him as his Q is spammable. Same with the Triforce, the extra damage from Sheen will make his attacks so strong!
The Brutalizer. I get it because in early game having that extra CD reduction and Armor pen from not using 9 armor pen runes is so strong. I've had plenty of enemies who's been whining about me getting brutalizer, they think it's to good on Talon :>
Then Boots. Boots are always difficult of picking, you must really think whatever you want Ninja Tabi for the extra Armor or the Merc Treads if they have alot of CC. So, put your head in the game!!
Another way to start the game versus a strong AD champion can be Cloth Armor and 5x pots.
And if the game progresses that long that you can get an full build you should get an defensive item like: GA, Warmogs, Sunfire Cape etc.
The skill sequence is kinda obvious, you want the E spell for the silence and the W spell you want to max first because you need it for farming. You wont be having many team fights so you need the Q damage before level 9 anyways.
Level your ulti at level 6-11-16 like a standard champion.
Nothing much really to say here.
On summoner spells i prefer Exhaust and Flash
You can also run like Ghost or Cleanse or Ignite if you want to. Teleport can be viable to if your doing solotop and want to get to like dragonfights or any fight in general, or you maybe want to save a tower or something.
For farming in general. If you can, try to have your team pick a jungler so you can go solotop and get all farm, just W minion waves and everytime you get an oppurtunity Mid/Lategame you should try to clear waves. Look at the pictures above and look at my Minion kills. That's why i can just own other players.
In Teamfights you should just stay behind your tanks and once you get an oppurtunity to just jump on their squishys, do it. Show them who's Field of Justice this is!! Since Talon got an Jump, Silence, Slow and Stealth he's often the key person in teamfights, everyone wants to kill him, especielly if your fed.
To Sum it up. Just go on there and wreck people. Talon is SOOO strong and it's sad that almost no one plays him...
Good luck and Have fun m8s! :)
Yours Sincerely, H3J4G41N
