Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Sorry if you tldr this.
It's a bit of a wall.
Vlad is what I like to call ridiculous.
He's a manaless mage that just drains hp.
Love playing him.
I think you all should try him.
Pros / Cons
-HP gives AP
-AP gives HP
-Skills have great synergy
-Great Escape and Chase Mechanism
-Madred's will ruin your day
-Being Outranged is a little more than upsetting
-That's it. Yay.
Start off with an Amplifying Tome.
More AP and HP.
Hextech Revolver is up next.
Transfusion will just fill you up.
Get some Boots of Swiftness.
Keeping up for early kills is rather important.
Time for a Deathcap.
AP and HP, time to rock balls.
Rylai's is crucial to get those well deserved kills.
Finish your Will of the Anchients.
Spirit Visage to help keep you full at that point in the round.
If by now you're not wrecking faces, you're donig it wrong.
The second cap will help.
And you have two hats on.
Follow that up with the potions.
You still haven't won?
You must have some awful teammates.
Sorry 'bout that. :|
Another option is following:
Boots of Swiftness,
That's fine too.
Oh btw, I have no idea how link the items. I so sorry.
Transfusion gets silly quick.
And keeps you going very well early on.
This is your spam skill.
Tides of Blood is the best for laning.
You will destroy minions and champs alike with this skill.
Late game, spam that ****.
Btw, if your autoattack can reach - this skill can.
Just needs one point for a while.
I use if for chasing and escaping.
Not so much as damaging.
And before I forget.
It gets you past towers.
And kills is the enemy spawn.
Just so you know.
SLAM this beast down.
Makes you wreck with your following skills.
And, just as they think they got a way...
Get some more points in Sanguine Pool if you're not getting away or getting the kills you want.
I know what you're thinking - just hold on a sec and let me explain.
For Vlad, AP is HP.
And like all AP characters, more AP is great. (Obviously.)
And walking out the gate with 21 AP is fine and dandy.
But, walking out with 34.38 more, that's faaaaaaaantastic.
55 AP at the start. I think that's just ****ing silly.
And, with all that AP you get a whopping 99.684 HP!
Just go have a party at level 1.
Everyone should fear you.
Standard Mage Offensive Masteries.
Defence because nothing else will benefit you.
Deal with it.
No need for Clarity - no mana.
Blew your mind.
This will keep you going,
or your teammates.
It's just great.
So, just take it and shutup.
Hell ya Exhaust.
Vlad's range isn't too huge.
And if they're bailin' not much you can do.
Or, on the flipside-
if you're bailing,
you'll piss 'em off.
Flip 'em the bird and leave.
So Exhaust will just all around help.
