Introduction
This is my build for Alistar when playing dominion. I have good luck with this build and i decided to share the build. This is the first build I'm putting up, so i would like to know what people think of it, so please give me a comment if you have somthing helpful to say.
I know this way of building him up, is not what you find in most of the builds. None the less, this works for me, so the rest of you might enjoy it to.
Please rate and comment :D
Hope you like my build :)
The runes are mainly used for defence, except the marks.
- Marks are flat magic penetration, to help the damage along alittle.
- Seals are flat armor.
- Glyphs are flat magic resist.
- Quintessences are scaling health. Since your level is going up quickly i choose to take the scaling instead of the flat health.

- In masteries I have been concentrating on Defence, like the items. Armor, dodge, magic resistance and health everything is pretty much important. There is also a point in reinforce, to help with defending and to use it as a weapon.
- There is a few points in Offence to enhance the damage just alittle. The focus is on Ability power and Cooldowns. Cooldowns are quite important since Alistars abilities take quite the time to refresh.
- I have chosen not to take any in Utility since the "dead time" is low and there is a constant flow of XP.

Pros
- You get a damn lot of health on a map where most people dont prioritise health. It will make you able to survive pushing the enemy.
- You have enough armor to remove around 70% of the incoming damage and with Alistars "Unbreakable Will" you are close to immortal for 7 sec.
- You will also be able to go after spellcasters because of the magic resist.
- The boots will make you able to roam and support all over the map.
Cons
- You dont do much damage. If you want many kills you'll need to make use of the towers or your team.
- In a 1on1 fight you might not have the damage output to win.
