This guide isnt the most through and it still needs a lot more explanation but it gets the job done. This is my first guide so i though i would do it on my favorite character, Wukong the Monkey King. Wukong has by far been my favorite character this whole game ever since i first played him. I've never had so much with a character as i have with Wukong. It seems to me that Wukong is a very under played character for how good he really is. So i made this guide to show you why Wukong is the Monkey King. This guide before you will show you how to unlock Wukong's full potential. This is a build i prefer to use as Wukong, it hits hard with the way it ignores armor, and has high crit. Makes you attack quicker to breeze through your opponets in a blink of the eye. This is The Critical Monkey build! Please leave your comments i would like to hear what you have to say. With the skill build it focuses harass from lvl 3 on that way you can easily keep your oppenets at bay. Its good to have decoy at lvl 3 for a smart escape in a tricky situation or if you are gonna die. It also makes for a great get away after you burst. Wukong is a good burst champion and great to gank with. By lvl 6 you can get easy kills with this combo: Nimbus Strike (E) + Crushing Blow (Q) then go into Decoy (W) and pull back. Do that about 2-4 times depending on your enemy then after so many times finish them off wit your ulti Cyclone (R).

The Rune set up i chose makes really good for burst damage, because of all the damage penitration. Since Wukongs abilities dont take much mana the Glyphs of Celerity are a good touch for the cd reductions so you can burst quicker. The Seals of Defense are a nice touch because they allow you to stay in battle longer by making you a little more tanky.

Now as for items i just start with the basic Doran's Blade nothing to really explain there. For boots i go with Boots of Swiftness for the chasing capability good substitutes are Berserkers Grieves or Mercury Treads. If you like you can get the Philosophers Stone before boots for the earlier lane sustain either way works great its up to you tho. Now with the Sword of Occult don't get it unless you are doing good other wise it will be a waist and you won't be able to keep stacks. But if you start out great go for it its a great item for damage if you are doing good and can really help your burst damage. Trinity Force is next because of the Sheen ability u get from it it does wonders for you damage output and the health and mana are a great help. Its an expensive item but well worth it. Nrxt is my friend the Bloodthirster, its nice a great help because of the life steal and damage stacks. Next is the Black Cleaver but you may also make it before the Bloodthirster just depends if you want to tear through armor or have life steal. Lastly you will build your Infinity Edge, your crit. damage will sky rocket and you normal damage is just insanity.

The summoner spells i chose are to my liking for Wukong Exhaust so they can't get away and Flash to pick up the chase and hop walls for safety. If you would like to use other spells good substitutes are Ghost and Ignite.

The masteries i chose help a lot for the offensive side/damage bursting. But the Reason i chose to put the 5 in Defense is for that bonus armor and magic resistace to make Wukong a little more tanky.

Wukong is great in team fights, ganking and cutting ppl off. Objectivly if you are going to gank you don't want your opponet to know you are coming, correct? Well with Wukong its real simple you hide in a push and when your team mate is ready to gank you Decoy (W) and quickly rush in then when in range Nimbus Strike (E) and Crushing Blow (Q) then follow up with Cyclone (R) to pop them up in the air. See its quite simple and your opponets just never expect it.

For farming you always want to engage the mages with Nimbus Strike (E) that way you do quick damage to all 3 of them and you can pick off each one then help your minions kill the rest. Also dont be afraid to use your ulti to creep farm if you see a huge group of enemy minions just rush in and Cyclone (R), its quick money and you get your ulti back soon enough anyway.

-Can play against ranged chars easily

Cons

-Targeted in team fights
-Kinda squishy

Wukong is a trust worthy charecter, not hard to play and has a varity of builds. This build focuses the true damage that Wukong can do im able to 2-5 squishy chars all the time once the build is complete. If you want to build more tanky its easy to substitute items in this build. Over all i trust this build, in all the games ive played i havent faced another Wukong who could beat me.
