Xin Zhao is a very fun champion. He doesnt take much skill but that doesnt mean your going to be good. I've been playing him for a long time and realize that if you go attack speed his passive will help so much.

For the runes. I go straight armor pent runes to help with the damage. They will help you do more and make them rush early armor items unless they want to feed you. I go attack speed seals for the early attack speed. They will help your passive and you'll lifesteal faster and saty alive longer in a 1v1. I split the glyphs with critical chance and attack speed. The critical chance will get you the early crit and help you sustain your lane. The attack speed is the same idea as the seals. I go for 1 armor pent quintessence for the same concept as the marks. But i get 2 health quintessence for the early tankyness. You'll stay alive longer and get a lot more early bonus health.

For the masteries i go 24 offense, 1 defense, and 5 utility. In the offense i go heavy lifesteal crit and damage. For my xin i like having a lot of damage. I go for 1 in defense so i can take less damage from minions. Everyone knows that minions are OP. For the utility i go like reducing my recall time and reducing my time spent dead. Also i go with the little bonus movement speed.

I rush a dagger and build it into a zeal. The zeal will help with your passive so well. I go for the boots so you can get away if you have to and so you wont be entirely slow early game. I rush my b.f. sword and build it into a Black Cleaver. THis will give me damage. And i like damage. Also, it will give me more attack speed. Next, i finish my phanton dancer and that gives me even more attack speeed and crit. Next, i get mercury treads because the reduce slows, taunts and stuns, and all those so i wont be stunned for so long. I get a heart of gold and build it into a randuins omen so i can get armor and health. Its good to be a little tanky so you wont get burned down so quickly. I get a bloodthirster for the damage and the lifesteal. I finish my build with a gurdians angel so when they think they killed you, you come back to life and end up picking them up.

I get my three talon strike first. It is his best move.(Does most damage) Plus it is easy to get first blood with it because of its pop up. I get my Battle cry second because it gives you early attack speed and it reduces the cooldown on your abilities. And at level 3 i get audacious charge. This move does some damage and it is a range attack. It will bring you to your target and slow them. You max out your three talon strike by level 8 and put a point in your ultimate whenever you can. You max out your battle cry out by level 13 getting your ultimate whenever. You get your aduacious charge last and finish it by level 18 and getting ultimate whenever.

I roll with exaust and flash. I use exaust to slow the enemy and make them do less damage and so forth. I use it mainly just to get close to them and stop them from getting away. I use flash for either the quick get away or to get closer. FLash is very useful because when you are being chased down you can flash away and saty alive or when someone is running away you catch them and pick up the kill.

What you do is pop your battle cry and then adacious charge to your enemy and then ulti. Then you pop them up with your three talon strike. By time they are undazed from the pop up your adacious charge will be up and you slow them more. Almost guarentted a kill. Your ultimate does more damage the more health they have so if you ulti a low health champion you wont always get them.

Xin Zhao is a heavy damage and beefy champion. He'll do a lot of damage and is a very good duelist. In team fights he can damage everyone with his ultimate.
