So I know lots of people prefer to go tank Riven, some even claim her to be an AD champ, but jesus christ they got no clue bout this game. The ONLY way to maximize Rivens Damage Output is to play her as an AP Mid Caster. Its pretty obvious actually, I mean sure, her skills may not scale as good, but thats not what Riven is all about, AP Riven is all about the faboulosity in a very being itself.

It doesnt really matter what sort of runes and shiat you take, youll anyways be killing anyone in less than few seconds, so I decide to build funny symmetrical pictures in my masteries and get the dodgehack runes.

Also make sure to go for the cooldown runes, theyre kind of a must have on a champion as hot as Riven.

You once again dont even need your skills in order to raip the hell out of everybody, so I just try to skill everything as beautifull as possible, creating a figure that almost looks like a flow or whatever.

You ususally wanna start out with a dagger and mana potion, because even though were not playing AD, the Attackspeed from those dagger things is still brokenly overpowered and we should make use of that advantage. It also helps you lasthitting, becuase with all of that attackspeed we dont even have to worry about getting the lasthit anymore, we can just rightclick the creeps and wait for the flow of money to begin flowing. The mana potion is pretty usefull for earlygame laning, seeing as Rivens pretty manaintense earlyon.

Next up is a Rabadons, we dont have AP Ratios just yet, but thats fine, because we still get a freakin badass looking hat for only 3600 gold, which, asking me is one hell of a deal.

Now that we have some badassery going on in our outfit, we can build THE item for us, the Lich Bane, its even stronger than freaking doubleswords. Dont laugh, just think about it for a second, Lich Bane basicly IS a doublesword, but instead of the stupid little yellow swords it consists of two manly, manly sabres.

At this point were so strong, that not even the bounds of space and time can hold us, so I decide to go back in the latter and grab three innervating lockets. Why? Because fack the police, thats why.

If everything else fails though, you can still just go for the singed build and stack spike items, always works.~

Now this may sound a little weird, but AP Mid Jungle Riven is more than viable. Start your quest at the rude dudes camp, but only kill the big one and let the desperation of losing their leader drive the other ones insane before actually killing them.

You dont want to kill the other camps before hitting level 7, so you just wait for the rude dudes to respawn until you hit the last bit of rudeness outta them and you hit lvl 7, finally being able to kill the rest of the pack without any problems.

You dont really gank, because the rude dudes have to be killed as soon as they spawn and you cant risk having them get the time to recover some of their rudeness.

Are you kidding me? Your playing AP Riven, you dont need a team! Srsly.

You always want to search a save spot, somewhere aside the fight to savely snipe your enemies, also be sure to choose the right weapon, those little melee guns wont help you if youre playing a freakin headshot champion.

On a side note, you should create two macros for these two lines:

-> Always post this one when you killed somebody: "H34D5H0T N3WB U SO B4D 0Mf6 H4H4H4H4H4"

-> The second is for when you, by some kind of miracle actually died: "FAKIN6 H4><0R WHY YOU scOPE WTFWFTWFTWFT"

With these always up your sleave, theres no way anyones ever gonna make a fool of you.

You pretty much beat everybody, except Ezreal, his beauty is too much even for mighty AP Riven, she just corrupts and becomes his slave.

Besides that you send everybody into oblivion.

Be sure to give this a try guyz, it actually works, trust me. You may take a little time getting used to this, but the time spend on learning this complicated Champion really pays off.
