That's true, but I mean the all out jungle mordekaiser taking summoner smite and staying in the jungle throughout most of the game.

You said that jungling as morde is bad, however , after getting will of the ancients, you can go into the jungle and stop for some bonus gold. Especially if you find that you are falling behind, just getting some monster kills might help get you back on track.

Thanks for the feedback guys I'll definetly be making some changes on this build once I get a little more time. Also I definetly agree with the spellvamp issue, the latest games I've played were better without the focus on spell vamp. Thanks a lot!

Decent build, but I would suggest some items other than WotA and Hextech. If you actually look at the effectiveness of spell vamp on morde, it is relatively worthless. Since all of morde's skills are aoe, the effectiveness of any spell vamp is cut drastically, making your life gain barely even out with the life cost to cast. I have found it better to build for more ap rather than spend the extra gold to get spell vamp. With more ap, all of your spells, including children, will be doing significantly more damage, causing you to get more shield, in turn, reducing the same, if not more damage than you would have healed. Plus you will be doing that extra damage for the kill. All in all however, this is a great build, and I also feel that ap morde is 20 times better than tanky, because the more damage you do, the more tanky you become. You should at least try a few games without the spell vamp and see how that plays, and if you think you need the spell vamp, I certainly will not be judging you.

Long time Morde vet here. (Probably the only champ where I have a Guaranteed Positive KDR) I agree with almost everything you have to say on Morde except for a few points. 1. Spell vamp on Morde kinda sucks. with all your skills doing AOE damage it just isnt worth the gold. Instead try HP/level seals for survivability keeping your Rylai's as a third item and Focusing Heavy ap after that. Also, instead of opening with Dorans I grab Amplifying Tome and rush Haunting guise. Combined with the Magic Pen from Sorcerers shoes, this makes you an early to mid game Monster! Also, with some more points in Offense Mastery tree, your siphon should charge your shield in one to two hits early game, provided you hit enough minions. Other than that, great build!
