Done badly, you are right.

If he's fed though, he'll be able to kill anyone on your team without you being able to kill him. So far, I've mostly got 2:1 KD ratios, even in losing games, with triple kills under turrets, by focusing the right players.

Yes. Yes I have.

/corrected

Also I no longer roll with HOG, but I've stated it as viable.

I didn't really say it initially, but I meant to trade zerkers out for Mercury's later when the actual teamfighting started. The zerkers are mostly because A: they're cheaper, B: they satisfy my need for teemo's auto attack to not be stupidly slow. You could argue it doesn't help much, but it's the way I like to build him.

His shrooms are good when placed, but if you haven't built any dmg for them it makes them negligible and not threatening.

I'm still warring with this. I don't like hybrids as they don't do enough of anything, especially as bruisers.

For now I've removed all additional magic damage from Teemo, but I might give it a comeback in it's own section later.

And yes, I do realise the shrooms do "little to no damage", but they're generally enough to push lane hard enough, and unless you have someone cait trap sweeping the shrooms, they're good as extra free wards, as well as mentally affecting players ("oh ****, they can see I'm here"). Besides, if the Teemo goes AP, the other team should just buy an oracles to get rid of all his 'presents'.

Also, as far as I know, isn't a meta team consistent of an AD carry, a Jungler (which could be a hybrid like Jax, to an AP or an AD), a support (AP based mostly), a mid lane AP and a Top Solo (Blinding Dart lasts 2.5 secs at max rank and there are many stuns that will counteract this entirely from top laners). So, how does this build crush a meta team?

Rather than countering per se, it's supposed to be able to carry in ranked solo queue.

Carry? Eat his face off.
Support? Eat his face off.
Tank/Bruiser? Poke/run away.
Jungler? I can see you.

Unlike the squishy teemo, you should happily be able to 1v1 anyone on the other team, or be able to tank the damage while running away, while still retaining enough hurt of your own to get kills - making you a threat to that team whether you like it or not.

What's the point of having AP runes if you're not going to build any AP items?

An attempt at hybrid. I've removed them for now.

Tank Teemo. I've seen this done a few times but once the team realised the build Teemo was doing they ignored him and went for the others knowing his dmg is ignorable.

Also in your own build sequence YOU point out you purchase a Heart of Gold. However, come to the Items section of your guide and move to the "Honorable Mentions" you basically sit there and say a Randuin's Omen is useless because it won't help your team. Two things: WHY would you buy a Heart of Gold if you don't plan on getting a Randuin's, nor do you mention bothering to purchase Locket of the Iron Solari? You're basically wasting 830 gold on buying a +250 health item with +5g every 10secs which as you pointed out will set you back 13 minutes in terms of gold generation. The second thing is; Have you completely ignored the tooltip for a Randuin's Omen? Its passive is "20% chance on being hit to slow the attacker's movement and attack speed by 35% for 3 seconds." Then there is the unique active: "Slows movement speeds and attack speeds of surrounding units by 35% for 2 seconds + 0.5 seconds for each 100 armor and magic resist." Now please explain to me how this DOES NOT help your team?

Another point; why would you build Beserker's Greaves for the +attack speed if you're not going to capitalize on the gained attack speed? A frozen Mallet slows enemies speed for 2.5 seconds so you don't need the attack speed boots which in this particular build are kind of wasted. His E lasts for four seconds and the dmg does not stack, so refreshing it is not really game breaking with a build like this. If you really plan on going tank Teemo I would have thought the Mercury Treads would fit in here much more comfortably than the Beserker Greaves.

You also disregard the Rod of Ages. Health, Mana and AP per minute stacking to 10 times. The health is a nice chunk, the mana, you may not be building but it wouldn't hurt and the AP is still good to help with Teemo's E and R. Disregarding as pointedly as you did sounds like you didn't bother to take note of how this would work into your abilities/build at all. Why wouldn't you want it? YHou're not building mana? So, there's a good chunk of health and AP to compliment Teemo's kit even as a tanky build.

What's the point of having AP runes if you're not going to build any AP items? Early game domination? You still need to buy AP items to make it worth having the runes.

The frozen mallet is a good item, but Teemo doesn't have any bruiser like abilities to really harrass the enmy team in a team fight. His shrooms are good when placed, but if you haven't built any dmg for them it makes them negligible and not threatening.

In my opinion if you want tanky DPS, use a character that's meant to be tanky DPS - not Teemo. When you're fed, even AD Jungle Soraka might seem "viable", but you can do even better with another champion with skills that actually synergize. Consider this build on something like Yorick, for instance. I still upvoted for encouragement.

Do you know how I can do that for forum names too?

I've been around and tidied it a bit, with still more work to be done to the Pros/cons, comment vote enabled and all that.

Hope you guys like it so far :)

I like the idea but i think you kind of went a bit too far with the "tanky teemo" idea I like to build my teemo up to be a little tanky end-game but i don't go full tank. Despite that this is the first time I saw this outside of my personal teemo build so ill give you a upvote. Good luck!

And be sure to put on comment to vote to avoid troll downvotes like what is happening to you :(

You may want to use codes such as Boots and other codes, maybe a few more pictures and examples of why you do what you do, +1 let me know if you need any help

I was going to down-vote, and I will explain why, but I will also explain why I ended up up-voting instead.

So the reason I was going to down vote was because of the layout and build. When I saw your guide, it looks like just a list of words, which could be both a positive and negative. The appearance is not as welcoming, but that also means that there are an abundance of explanations for why you picked what, which I did like. Then you have the build... at first I was like WHAT ARE YOU SAYING. Whenever I build a Teemo, I always focus on attack speed and ability power. However, that is what everyone expects now a days because that is what everyone does, which is why I ended up intrigued about building Teemo like a tank.

I think that if you updated the look of the guide a little bit, you might draw in more people, because I overall did really like the guide. You may also want to turn on comment to vote because you might get a lot of troll votes otherwise, like I did for my old Cassiopeia guide. Good luck though!
