Introduction
The masteries I chose for this build are because they are imperative to have. They will help you when farming minions to get gold for your late gaem items, while your defensive masteries help protect you from ganks. They won't help you so much that you won't die, but it will give you a better chance of fleeing enemy ones and staying in friendly ones. The offensive masteries are very helpful when criting and also with attack speed and damage.
If you have ever used a Master Yi guide before, or have any common sense, you will probably have gotten the Brawlers Gloves first. The reason to choose them over the dagger is because you will already have started out with attack speed, but will need to build up your crit strike faster. As you get kills and farm off of minions, you will be able to get the Berzerker's Grieves sooner. The next item is the Rageblade. This item will come in handy extremely well as it gives you attack AND ability power. It is a little expensive for an early game item, but will help you get fed up to the next item. The Infinity Edge. This is probably the most popular item in all of LoL. It is the most expensive, but with the Rageblade, kills will be a walk in the park. I recommend starting out with the Cloak first because it not only gives you even more crit, but is the cheapest. If you have enough to get the B.F. Sword though, then get it. After you purchase one of the items you can buy the other two in pretty much any order. Now for the lightning attacks, your next item, the Zeal, gives you increased attack damage and movement speed. It will build up to the Phantom Dancers later and will definitely secure your place as team carry. Once you have these four items, you can go out and focus on mainly slaying enemy champions instead of taking out the turrets. You will want to get all of your items for this build to have it's maximum potential displayed. The second to last item is Yomumu's Ghostblade. I don't know why, but everytime I see it, it screams Master Yi. I put it in this build because it will help you kill champions even faster which will be needed as your teammates level with you and will help you to kill them before your teammates can even think of KSing you. Now, for the Grande Finale, the Lich Bane. You are probably like WTF right now but trust me, this item means the difference between life and death. It will give you an acceptional ammount of ability power to use with meditate. It will also add to even more of your attack damage and attack speed. Now that you have these items, be cautious as you don't have a whole lot of defense. But your attack damage, attack speed, movement speed, and critical strike cmombined with your ability power should make it an unfair advantage...for them. Go out and pwn.
Pros:
You will have high crit rate early game
Good damage and attack as well
Ability Power help you meditate to gain back massive ammounts of health loss
After the laning phase you will most like be the team carry
Durring the laning phase you will not have to recall for health and mana very often
Your items will allow for early game ganks and allow you to execute them flawlessly and score multikills
Cons:
You will have low armor and magic resistance
Your Wuju style won't be the top priority so you will not have a high ammount of damage until level 7 or so
You will be the primary target of ganks and will have to use your ultimate often
Your skills will not gain very much attack after you get your first three items
Expensive build

One thing I would deffinitely recommend is to try and avoid laning against any casters such as Ryze early game
You will be able to take them on late game but your top priority is to stay alive
Watch out for any persistant champions willing to Turret-Dive you; ususally means they are chasing you into a gank

This guide actually focuses on teamwork up until you die until late game. Once you have left the laning stage, it is very important that you try and last hit everyone champions and minions alike. I know, this sounds very selfish, well it isn't bad for you to get an assist as Yi. But your items are pricy and you will need the most gold you can get for this to play out right and enable you to seize victory from the rubble of the enemies' destroyed nexus.
I chose Ghost and Ignite for this build because Ghost will add an additional speed advantage to his already acceptional speed. This will come in handy when an enemy is fleeing and is almost dead, or if you need to escape a gank and Highlander is on cooldown. The sceond summoner spell I chose was Ignite. I chose this because many people have some sort of healing spell or are packing health potions early game. This will help reduce their Health Points regeneration and do damage at the same time which will allow for you to Alphs Strike them and score a lethal blow.
