With these masteries you can output tons of damage but still have enough mana to get the sustain in lane u need as a solo top. You could have gone for some more armor if you wanted to be more tanky but with these masteries u also have the ability to help out your team with your slow (W) and ult.

To keep your farm at its max, you gotta be willing to use your spells to get as many ghouls out as possible, this might mean you will have to recall but the mana regen from the masteries will give you alot more sustain than without.

If laning againt someone like Nasus expect getting outfarmed early game, dont think about this like your a bad player. Its only because Nasus is one of the strongest top lane farmers.
To counter this try to get as much her*** of on him with your W and E.

In team fight playing as yorick try to stay in the back, not as much as a swain, but dont go in the front with this build. Try to focus on slowing them when they try to escape and use ur ult when your about to die so that you can still deal damage. Also try to always have your E up just for the extra Health Regen.

If your team is getting chased shoot your W at them for the slow, if ur team has a Nunu or anyone with alot of movement speed buffs and debuffs your team should be pretty safe with this tactic.

Why go for this build?
Your able to spam your abilities alot more and still deal a large amount of damage. You could go for something moe tanky like stacking thornmail, but then you wouldnt have the same damage output and your ghouls would be alot weaker.

Pros:
Farming is much more efficient than with a more tankier build.
Your ghouls will do more damage and your able to her*** your enemy much more.
Its quit a easy build to learn how to play Yorick with.

Cons:
You are probaly not as tanky as the enemy thinks and might be targeted in the team fights quiet early, but by staying a little in the back this problem shouldnt be bothering you.
Against someone like renekton you need alot of ganks on your lane in early game, but late game you will dominate your lane.

Almost all summoner spells would work on Yorick, I just think Flash and Ignite are better because of Yoricks lack of escape abilities, and Ignite because I always play with Ignite.

I will be updating this guide as frequenlty as possible and watching out for all the changes to Yorick because he is my main champ and hopefully you will enjoy him sa much as me.

This build would be very good in ranked because your able to support your team so much, and just her*** your opponents. And if your team has a good jungler you will have the potential to get fed alot early game, if you just stay a little back and dont play to aggresive.
