I hear a lot people saying that Yorick is not as a good champion as they expected to be, I disagree. I think Yorick is a great champion if you know how to play.

I use full ability power runes which I know is strange but it helps a lot with Omen of Pestilence.If you want you can play with some AD in order to power up his other spells too.

I use a normal 9/21/0 to increase his defensive style.

I start with Doran's Shield , so I get more health.

After that I buy Mercury's Treads for some magic resist, but if the enemy team is not too much AP you can buy Berserker's Greaves.

Then I take Spirit Visage for some health and Trinity Force to be more reliable.

When I finish with Trinity I buy Hextech Gunblade in order to increase both AD and AP.

For the end I take Frozen Mallet just to have more HP.


NOTE : If you want more HP earlier in the game you can start buyin Frozen Mallet before Hextech Gunblade.

I like starting with Omen of Pestilence (W) cause I want to slow the enemies and damage them more.

As you see I have all of my spells (Q,W,E) when i reach lvl 3 and I cast them all together if we have catch sb . I do that beacause of Yorick's passive (Yorick's takes 5% reduced damage and his basic attacks deal 5% more damage for each summon that is active.) Although i am carefull when i cast Omen of Famine since it costs a lot of mana.

I am trying to have my ulti every time I enter a combat so i can use it to help my teamates by reviving them or just to have one more unit to damage the enemies.I also use my ulti when I try to destroy a turret.

I like Clarity/Flash on Yorick.

I use Clarity a lot cause almost every time I run out of Mana.
The Flash spell is really necessary as Yorick doesn't have many ways to leave a combat.(You can also use Ghost spell if you want)
