Thank you for your guide :)
I am a Twitch main, and was wondering about when to start off a game with either a Doran's Shield or a Relic Shield. Basically when to grab a shield as a starting item. And I am very glad to find out about those items in your guide. :)
I would still like to ask which one would work best among the two ?
I was thinking Relic Shield but still would like your opinion on this.
Thank you.

Glad you like the guide. Doran's Blade is usually the most standard one, but Doran's Shield is the best option if up against a bullying lane. For example, if you're against a Caitlyn, Draven, maybe a Kog'Maw, or anyone you think can easily harass you (this includes the support). Relic is much more situational. The state of Ardent Censer after its nerf remains to be seen, but at least when ardent supports were the best, ADCs could take relic shield to funnel more gold into their support so they could get Ardent Censer sooner.

Greetings. May I request for a review of Taric in the supports section? His kit has been reworked and no longer has radiance or Shatter. Thanks!

Quick question, I used to occasionally build Guinsoo's Rageblade, mostly for the lulz but also because if you were ahead you could fully stack it in two auto attacks when popping your ult in a teamfight. I get that it's been pretty heavily reworked but do you think there is ever an occasion where it's worth building, even just for fun?

nrj6490 | January 8, 2017 2:53pm
obviously if you get an early lead your build path is adaptable, but I'd say you could take a build like the old reworked Kog build (like a BORK > runaan's > guinsoo's > IE > situational item) if the enemy team has a lot of tanks that only you have the potential to shred. this build looks like it'd scale super well but, again, is pretty useless if you're behind.

Will Fervor be the new keystone to take with since it's getting buffed in 6.24?
1
nrj6490 | December 7, 2016 5:32am
Possibly. It's yet to be seen whether new Fervor is better on hypercarries than Bloodlust. It looks like it could be though. EDIT: nope, bloodlust still better. Fervor good on ppl like Lucian who can stack it quickly and can make use of it in lane

Hey man, awesome guide .I'm using the items, runes and masteries listed here and you're right - twitch starts to be better mid game and really strong late game. I have one problem though ... I can't for the life of me last hit the damn creeps. I swear .. i have no problems with other champions but most of the time i'm the second lowest on creep score... the first lowest being the supp ofc ... I can't seem to find the right time to last hit. I also sense a pretty big delay between the click and the actual shooting. Do you maybe have any tips on how to last hit with twitch ? I can't find a balance and it's frustrating. Thank you, and again, awesome guide !!

I suppose everyone has those champions where its randomly harder to farm on (for me it's Vayne). If you're having trouble farming as Twitch, frankly one of the best things to do is just play a one man custom as him and farm. However, I do understand that since Twitch's kit is a bit odd for AD carries, there are a few key things to keep in mind while farming. The first is Deadly Venom. Be careful when landing multiple autos onto a single creep, since the venom will stack and lower the hp faster than you think it will. To summarize that point, seeing a creep with full hp and thinking you can take it in 4 hits as say, a Jinx is very different than a Twitch. Watch your venom and make sure you hit it before the venom and your creeps take it down. Note: if it does die to venom, you will get the CS, but its better being safe than sorry. Second: Twitch is probably one of the most harassable ADCs in lane due to his weak harass early without committing. Therefore, your opponent could potentially punish you every time you try to farm if they have strong harass (e.g. Jinx, Ezreal, Ashe, Caitlyn). So honestly, if you see a creep thats out of your range and that autoing will likely result in harass, its probably safer to just W it and E to last hit. Note: when you do this, trying to E-last hit more than one creep at once or even harass your opponent by hitting THEM in the W as well will make it more worth it. Third, just be aware of your minions' aggro. If they're noticeably targeting a single minion, shift all your focus to it and try to time their bursts of damage (and how much damage it does) to last hit it. This is applicable to all champs, obviously, but with Twitch, again, the deadly venom. If you see your creeps targeting a single minion, you only want to hit it once, to kill it, or else the venom damage may mess up your predictions. I wouldn't say there's too much of a delay between the click and shooting, it's just probably that you're overestimating Twitch's early attack speed compared to the likes of Lucian, Jinx, Trist, and other powerful laners. I have to admit when I first played Twitch his autos did feel different (especially since I came from heavily maining Jinx). Hope this helps, and thanks for the comment.

Hey man! Thank you so much for the reply! I did what you said ... I just "locked myself" in custom games with just me and creeps and just kept on last hitting till I got better and better .... i can now last hit like a boss :)) haha Thank you again man! Cheers !

Okay, for the past several games I played against and enemy Sona and lost all those times. IS their anything Twitch can really do. Or is that the support's job?
1
nrj6490 | May 26, 2016 6:13pm
Sona's really annoying to play against since she has both good harass and good sustain. Twitch obviously can't out-harass her, so sitting back and farming is probably the best bet unless Sona runs out of mana (watch for the mana regen from Spellthief's though). Any support with shields or heals would be preferable against Sona (a bit of poke also helps, making champions like Soraka and Karma good choices). Out of lane, basically just don't get hit too much by her Q before fights happen (it really chunks) and watch for her ult, so it all comes down to positioning. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the feedback. I personally like crit on Twitch, so even if I start with a BORK or Youmuu's, I'll build hurricane into IE afterwards. I agree that the more traditional Twitch builds will be more effective at higher elo, but the reason I like the 80% crit build featured in my guide is simply because it fits my playstyle well, more so than the BORK/Ghostblade build paths. I'll probably start transitioning as I rise in ELO (should that ever happen), like you said. But for now, 80% crit gets the job done for me.

What the first part of my post meant is that attributing it "to your play style" is a gray area. You're saying you like a lot of crit on him and that it fits your play style but in confused on what that means. Crit is just a scaling damage multiplier, and it's only use is damage, if you do more damage overall with builds without crit on him (in this current meta), why opt for a crit build that just deals less damage than the youmuus/runaans rush build counterpart in this patch? Also, what about crit specifically fits to your play style? I always thought crit just helped deal more damage, but in this patch, it deals less damage than some builds that don't build much of it.

Upon further review (god that sounds official) I think I'm starting to agree with you. Crit does need to have damage in the first place in order to succeed, and Ghostblade has a ton of it. As to your questions about playstyle, I guess what I meant was a more "sit back and auto" approach like a Caitlyn or Jinx instead of the more mobile ghostblade Twitch but I agree, thinking about damage output itself, the Ghostblade build does do more, and more consistently as well. Thanks a lot for your feedback.

Hmm. As a diamond twitch main with a 74% win rate on him, much of your logic behind your build seems to lack. I was playing him doing something similar to your build; I was grabbing a BF sword then buying statik shiv or rapid fire cannon, then into infinity edge, then phantom dancer or Ruunans, and leaving the last 2 items to situational decisions. I had moderate success with this but then decided to try out a new build.

Currently I am rushing Runaans hurricane to help with his very poor laning phase. This allowance in to snowball if he is ahead, or farm well without being pushed to tower constantly while behind. Afterwards I grab a Youmuus ghost blade into Blade of the ruined King. With these three items I found I did much more damage, plus the ability to shred team fights and assassinate squishes. Many of the games in my match history don't even end up grabbing an infinity edge; IE is not that much of a core item as you say it to be.

As you only have 6 ranked games played as twitch this season it's difficult for me to gauge the effectiveness of your build on players that have a sense of how to play against him. The build I outlined above gives him the power he needs to destroy the enemy team, and also covers his weaknesses that any team Gold+ will be able to exploit. I think your build will suffice against players in silver and below, but raise higher in rank and I'll assure you the weaknesses he has will be exploited

Ok what I'm guessing you're asking about is the actual pictures (like the match history in mine) in the guide. If i write the actual code here it'll just show up as a picture, so I'll omit the brackets on either side. Note that only one of each bracket should be used. First you need to post the image you want on a website like imgur, so you have a link. Then within the brackets, type img=whatever url it is. Here's my code without the brackets: img=http://i.imgur.com/EsNykGa.png?1
