I still feel like maxing Q or E at level 9 is the best way to play. You really want to have one ability at best basic stats as early as possible.
Problem with not mentioning items like Mikael's Blessing is that it still can be a needed option and you're supposed to build this item under specific circumstances because you're the only character in your team this item is suitable to (even though you play an APish suport).
