I tried to start a game earlier with my friend and when the screen usually goes black, it stays black for me with the cursor spinning like I'm waiting. I then end task and League is always never responding.

Can anyone help/explain this?

Update video drivers
Close any unnessesary applications running in background
Reinstall the client

Do you have something running which affects the game? I find having my recorder running makes the client not respond in some cases (e.g. if the game ends whilst im still recording).
