Are you viewing the published version, or the revision version? If the url has "?revision" or "?revision=1" on the end of it, you are viewing the latest revision and you should be seeing everything. If not, let me know, there may be a bug.
If the URL does not have that on the end, you need to either add it manually, click the "view revision" button on the guide page, or click the "preview" button from the guide editor to see the revision.

I've made adjustments to the revision handling so that never-published guides will always show the revision. Try it again and see if this resolves your issues.
