The new vampire jungler Briar is a few moon patch cycles away.
Despite Naafiri just being released in the previous patch, Riot has already spilled out more details on the upcoming vampire champion, Briar, especially on her tentative release date in this Mid-Year Check-In Dev Blog.

In the Mid-Year Check-In Dev Blog, both Riot Meddler and Riot Brightmoon walked through a few things that happened these last weeks and what is coming next.
Such things were the reactions on Arena (And whether the game mode should stay), new Star Guardian Skins from Wild Rift coming, Quickplay updates, Ability Icons improvements, and the return of the Blue Essence Emporium.
But… the info that actually caught the eyes of most people was the questions answered in this Reddit post.
Tentative Briar Release Date
One of those questions in the Mid-Year Check-In Reddit post was about the possible date of Briar coming out, to which Riot Meddler immediately responded.
So, we are going to see her in the PBE very soon, probably around two to four weeks if we follow the usual PBE patch schedule.
Other information that Riot Meddler also mentioned is that Briar is not going to be available in Worlds, because of how late she’s been released. On a positive note though, the darkin hound Naafiri is going to be available, so maybe a new hound worlds skin?

Last but not least, in that same post that included information about Briar, they did share a few hidden gems. To highlight a few ones, a comment about the new Co-Op vs AI overhaul and language swapping, Pre-Season being big, and even Riot Meddler shared a trivia fact about the game in alpha being originally intended as a 6v6.
All in all, now that you know Briar is coming soon, are you excited to play her? We know a few things about the new League of Legends champion.
We are aware that she comes from a noxian heritage, is a vampire, has a hangrier side, and that she’s not going to look like the femme fatales such as Renata Glasc, or other female champions.
Still, there are no more details about Briar, but I have faith in Riot August. As a Kayle player myself and seeing his great work with other champions (Jinx, Viego, and Ekko), we can expect a banger of a champion very soon.
