League of Legends (LoL) Question: Any good Unsual New Meta Top Laners

hmm, let's see...
There's Yorick as Vulture1 mentioned earlier, the only downfall is his lack of CC.
Then there's Poppy... She is great vs. tanks, thanks to the %total hp dmg, but she has no sustain.
There's also DR.Mundo, who can be very tanky, but since the meta is changing he's falling off drastically.
Mordekaiser... well he's OK, but the lack of CC really makes him lower on the tier list.
umm,Trundle... ugh the troll...As mentioned before, he has great dueling potential, but he's sorta a troll pick...
And last put not least, there's Singed... Also known as the elo-Booster, he is great late-game, but has no sustain, or any team fight potential (people just have to chase you).

trundle is awesome. by far my favorite top laner and one of my favorite champions

I would recommend Trundle. He is an incredible duelist with Chomp stealing enemy AD, Frozen Domain giving him an extreme advantage in skirmishes, and Subjugate stealing Health, Armor, and Magic Resist, leaving even the tankiest of champions crying for their mothers. His passive, King's Tribute gives him a sustain advantage over most champions and he is an amazing split pusher with Chomp and Frozen Domain. Also, a good Trundle can use his Pillar of Ice to interrupt a number of enemy abilities and setup ganks quite nicely.
