AP Junglers this meta

I am looking for an extra AP jungler to add to my champion pool besides Ekko. Ekko is nice, but his CC from his W is delayed, wich isn't useful against some heavy burst champions in 1v1 in this early game scuttle crab meta.

So Im looking for another option. I was thinking about Diana, ez to play but weak pre 6. So now Im considering Taliyah (very strong rn but nerfs incoming 8.16), Gragas (different build paths, strong with only 1 AP item) and Amumu (can build tank, AP or hybrid and he has lots of CC + buffs incoming).

So Im wondering wich one would be the best for climbing in SoloQ.

Ekko has fast clears and fleet footwork does wonders on him (: I always pick this when taking ekko in the jungle. You can easily gank top and mid and at level 6 your ganks are much more effective because tower diving becomes a thing. I usually take and . Try it.

So far I have been playing jungle with either or . But some extra attack speed with seems good to proc his passive faster. Gonna try it soon!:)

I was also fooling around with getting bloodrazor and warrior (instead of runic echo) as first item, it works against certain match-ups. But falls off later in the game. Haven't tried a specific build path for this. (especially with warrior and nashor's tooth with transcendence))

I have tried on and I played a solid game with it. The clears were healthier and I didn't really miss the burst from or . It was good!
Bloodrazor just isn't as effective as runic echoes because you can't proc his passive more than once every 5s. You can always try if you want though.
I have already seen on , but I have never tried it myself though. Gonna try a build with and soon!

I think you can start nashors or a rather Ap heavy item as first buy then opt for bloodrazor if against tanks at a later stage because 4% of target HP won't be doing much anyway early game.

isnt as good of an option if youre going for an ap jungler, since he builds mostly tank, with a little ap. Some picks that are strong but not popular are , who was mentioned, , and i could even see new being played jungle.

You are right about and I don't think Im gonna add him to my champion pool. and are strong, but I don't like them that much. So Currently Im learning and as backup.

I don't know if Akali Jungle still works though. Her passive doesn't affect monsters so it's hard to clear.

can still be played jungle, but what you see here often is a rush to be able to have decent jungle camp clear.
I am not saying you should play her jungle and that she is by any means better than or , but just saying that if you were interested in picking her up for the jungle it wouldn't be the worst.

Yeah of course isn't as viable as one of the meta junglers, but im happy it still works somehow. Im fond of off-meta stuff and I used to play old jungle sometimes. So Im definitely gonna try it. rush may actually make it decent.
