Lee sin insec

Hello, iv been recently playing a lot of lee sin and trying to master him, iv got most of the basics out the way. My question is that if i have 120 ping is it possible for me to insec smoothly or does ping not matter here?

So, high ping doesn't mean that you can't insec. Your kick is going to take .12 seconds to go through, but so will your flash, so rito should still be processing the flash after the kick.

The problem here is that you don't have time to make sure that the kick went through. In other words, if you were out of range for your R, you're going to waste your flash. I reccomend taking Lee into practice mode and kicking around a practice dummy for 10 minutes to get used to the range and delay before you try it against real people.

Finally, while Lee insecs are flashy and feel amazing to pull off, they aren't really necessary. You can get by with a far easier to pull off ward->W->R combo which will reposition you before you R (so you don't need as precise of timing.

Now i can play lee sin without feeling like im playing bad due to ping xd

Just fyi, an Insec is technically the combo with the ward hop. Kick-Flash accomplishes the same thing but Insec originally innovated the combo with the ward jump.

@OP, 120 ping shouldn't prevent you from comboing effectively, though it'll obviously not be as easy as someone with like 20 ping. It gets much harder when you get to 150 ping and higher.

ah k thats more assuring as i thought i wouldn't be able to pull of the combos, iv tried it in practice pool and it is working so thats a good sign.
