    Nasus Tier 3 Boot

    Hi Moba,

I'm still torn on this upgrade decision for Nasus. So far I've tested Alacrity and Distortion with good results.

Alacrity: It's easy to see why this is good for someone who is prone to kiting like Nasus. If you run the Utility mastery tree with at least 1 MS quint it reaches a respectable 430+ MS without any other items.

Distortion: can be rather abusive on Nasus. If you pick it up fairly early there is an unquestionable difference in the amount of potential farm and pressure you can exert on lanes. Every team fight you can count on having Ghost and possibly Teleport for split pushing.

Furor: looks like it was made for ADC kiting. My issue is any type of CC will ruin our ability to keep this activated on Nasus.

Captain: seems more like an initiator upgrade. I don't personally think Nasus fits that description.

Homeguard: I haven't tested this yet but it looks like it has serious potential for Nasus ganks bottom lane.

Anyone have thoughts on these items? Which upgrade do you prefer on Nasus?

Homeguard: Provides powerful regeneration and movement speed at fountain.
Furor: Increased movement speed in combat.
Captain: Increases movement speed of allies moving toward you.
Distortion: Decreases cooldown of Ghost, Teleport and Flash.
Alacrity: Grants a small additional base movement speed bonus.

Captain if you build mostly tanky and want more utility for your team.

Distortion if you run Flash + Teleport.

Alacrity if you want better positioning.

Homeguard is basically a situational option on anyone if your team is going to be turtling in your base for a while.

in my opinion, homeguard is only useful when your turrets are mostly down, but you still have a chance to win. if you're having the upper hand, distortion+ghost+teleport= nasus, nasus everywhere

I recommend homeguard, because Nasus needs a lot of farm and has to go back a lot because of mana problems and / or vulnerabilitiy to ganking. I rush them to get a lot more farm. Besides that i would recommend distortion but 25% doesn't automatically mean you can get to lane every time using teleport.

Nasus's biggest flaw in fights is the ability to be kited (hard) when Wither is down. Movment speed increasing upgrades are the selfish best option for him, or go with Captain like Plickin said.

Pluckin*, and yes he can be kited hard, however once Nasus gets on a target. with proper itemization. it will be hard for an opponent to get him off without the usage of summonerspells, or a large amount of crowd control. That is why I wouldn't take Furur. However Alacrity isn't terrible if you aren't serving as the initiator.

I would use captain. So, if you land that clutch Wither on their AD Carry your team can follow up.
